Oh man, grateful this video is still on UA-cam ! I love their cast iron pie pan, and wonderful that it was the first one you opened. The 9c13 seems ideal for lemon squares, and the last one you brought out and opened would seem ideal for cinnamon rolls and used as a basic cookie sheet as well ! Wonderful that Lodge gifted these all to you, and thanks for sharing with us all that was in that gorgeous package they graciously sent you !
I bought that pie pan the loaf pan and the Beast of a pan the Pizza pan, that thing is so big you can cook bacon, eggs, and pancakes at the same time. It's heavy but its a serious pan for true cast iron lovers. I will eventually pick up the entire Baking set. 12/14/20
Just got the Lodge 9" mini-wok and it is perfect for frying small batches, and it has, unlike a true wok, a flat bottom that sits stably on the stovetop.
I love Lodge. Almost all my cast iron is Lodge. I've even written an article about them. But I ran into one major problem with the pie pan. Most pie cooks require freezing of the crust in the pan. And cast iron shouldn't be frozen. Firstly you dont want your cast iron in a freezer where it's more susceptible to rust. And more importantly you don't want to put frozen cast iron into a preheated oven. I can almost guarantee it will crack from thermal shock.
Hi Amy & Eric!!! I liked your video today. I have that corn mold from many years ago. Its prob down my basement!!! You got some really great items from them. How great that they sent all that to you. Your so...lucky. I liked them all. Nice video. Take care my sweet friends. ♡
Thank you DiDi. You like your corn mold? We need to learn how to make corn bread. Very nice set. Yes, lucky to have met them when we drove through TN last year on our way to San Antonio (and make great friends). Very nice people in that store. Just think, had we made reservations earlier and not needed to even go to Pigeon Forge, then none of this would have happened. LOL. Take care and stay safe!!!
Amy you should have a link to their site so you can get credit for this!! I'm going to order the sheet pan because of you!! I didn't even know that existed until your video!! TFS!!!
Thanks for sharing, I can’t wait to see what you make in these pans. I’m building up my cast iron collection so this is a perfect video for me🤗 ❌⭕️💜❌⭕️💜❌⭕️
I’ve heard it recommended to use that cornbread pan for brownies but then sprinkle with powdered sugar so it doesn’t look like you know what. But nice crusty edge brownies.
I am meaning to buy the baking pan but to use it as a griddle. I have a big family and need to make bacon in large quantities. Need it to hold the grease well enough. Dealing with hot and heavy cast iron I cannot empty the grease as easily between cooking. Do you recommend to use on stove top?
Oh Amy what great bakeware.Love the pie plate with handles.Have lots of pie plates, but none with handles.Am here making apple pies for Cdn. Thanksgiving!
Hey Eric & Amy! Loved the video! Annnd the cookware! I loved that corn pone pan. I’ll have to go to that store, we’re only a few hours away. So I made a pumpkin pie but the crust burnt so I didn’t think it was Facebook worthy.😂😩I hope I inherit my Grandmother’s 120-year-old Lodge cast iron skillet. Don’t put them in the dishwasher! The Breville Bakery Chef is looking really pretty this holiday season. So they still sell it in the U.S.? Hmmm.... Well, Happy Cooking& God Bless Y’all!
You gotta do baked mac n' cheese in that casserole. I bet the bottom and edges will get extra crispy. I have to wonder though if it will hurt the dish to store refrigerated leftovers in it.
I've actually tried that, and you can get away with putting it in the refrigerator a day or two, but make sure your pan is well seaoned or else its not a good idea.

I so love lodge too! And yes I too think of lodge when I hear cast iron!
Just got the Lodge 9" mini-wok and it is perfect for frying small batches, and it has, unlike a true wok, a flat bottom that sits stably on the stovetop.

Love the new pieces! My first thought was a chicken pot pie in that new pie pan. Happy Wednesday.
Thanks Elke. Something with a crust is a must!

DAMN CAST IRON AND THEY PACKAGE IT LIKE GLASS
Maybe it's not the cast iron, they're protecting, but everything else in the truck if that box falls?
@@EricLearnstoCook lol that may be true.
I am getting the casserole pan for sure
Looks nice
Those pieces are so beautiful 😍
I need to crochet me some serious size pot holders, got my marble countertops cannot be messing around with my cast iron on them lol.
Works great on the gas grill as a flat top. No need for a Blackstone.
Great show!! Love cast iron!! Can’t wait to see what you do!
Looks like you can use the big baking pan as a griddle as well
Question, have you tried to use this "cookie sheet" on your glass top as a griddle?
Amy you should have a link to their site so you can get credit for this!! I'm going to order the sheet pan because of you!! I didn't even know that existed until your video!! TFS!!!
Wow love them
Thank you Maria. Happy Wednesday!
Amy you lucky duck!! Those pans are GORGEOUS!! ❤🥧🍪Curious if baking time would need adjusting for the pie pan
6:05 I could make a great Detroit style deep dish pizza in that
That's a great idea. We can't get the Wisconsin cheese (too expensive to ship), but Wegmans has something that may be comparable to substitute.

Also I am Mexican American so I do need this for my homemade flour tortillas! They are big!
I’d also like to know if you use it on the stove top. The directions say to use it only in the oven.
I also have those pans.
Any recipes you have cooked in them to share?
Pizza on the baking pan!👍
oh lawdy, I need that 9 x 13 pan. damn. :)
damn damn. LOL
Oh Lawdy, curse words
@@CookingWithCash replying to Diane. perhaps, Darn is a better word?

Can you make cornbread in the corn stick pan.
You gotta do baked mac n' cheese in that casserole. I bet the bottom and edges will get extra crispy. I have to wonder though if it will hurt the dish to store refrigerated leftovers in it.

Cast iron materials are healthy items because it send iron in the food 🥘
Way better than aluminum.
Eric Learns to Cook stay away from aluminium and non stick
I want to see deep dish pizza!
❤️❤️
lodge.....this is what I think ....it is American
