    Was this played back when dummy half could score also? which could be why he had both defenders attention??

      Not that long ago I don’t think. But the consensus was that the half shouldn’t be allowed to cross the line as there had not been a lot of structure on how to stop it. Keep in mind the game had only just changed to 6 a side.

      No that rule was canned before the 1995 World Cup in Hawaii which was 7 aside as well .
      1996 Turns up The Liptonice State of Origin takes place I Coffs Harbour and this is the Inaugural 3 Game Liptonice Trans Tasmen Test Series played at Perry Park in Brisbane . Aus Men win the series 2 tests to 1 .

      @@touch.screen no idea sorry. I had this game back on VHS back in the day. Used to watch it over and over. You can clearly hear Peter call “cow” and the commentator after the replay even says something along the lines of “there you have it cow”.
