This video is so fun and engaging! I loved how you showcased the actors and actresses in their youth-it really brings back memories. Keep up the great work!
Sorry, I only got one, but I still loved this video. It was amazing to see some of the women from long ago and admire their beauty and some of the men improved with age.
Great quiz! Very enjoyable. I only missed a few because I’m a Baby Boomer and these are the stars I grew up with. It was especially cool seeing Yul Brynner with hair👍🏾
Same score, 5/25. I recognized most of them after their names appeared, but a few I never would’ve known. Yul Brynner had a handsome Trans-Siberian face, to be sure. Wow!
Right! I would've never guess Shelly Winters. I knew Myrna Loy, Joan Collins and Maureen O'Hara. The other woman I didn't recognize. My other guesses is were the men.
I’m 73, so I’m a boomer. But I didn’t know these actors during their early years (e.g., Lillian Gish), so I missed a lot of them. But it was a lot of fun trying to guess. Thanks. Bring us more if you can 😊.
@@shenitagazaway2370Joan Collins I knew because I’ve seen many images of her when she was young. I’m Gen x and many are before my time. Richard Burton is very recognisable.
I am male 85 years old in the UK I got many of these actors I remembered going to the picture houses as we say in the UK in the 40s onwards happy days could we have more of this please many thanks for the memory's take care
I wonder how many actors and actresses told their publicists never to distribute photos of them after a certain age so their fans would remember them when they were at their peak.
This was difficult. It's so sad to see that a lot of them died so young. I am 69, and for some reason, it shocked me that I have lived longer than some. 😮
I recognized about 12 but only could remember the name of Yul Brynner (he was easy). But these are very old. Several were born prior to the 20th century.
I got 5 right out of 25. I used to see many of the actors and actresses in the movies as I was growing up but they changed so much from child to adult.
I swear, even though I instantly recognize the names of all the actresses when their names are displayed, I don't recognize their faces at all. If you just showed me their photos as adults, I could not tell you their names. That's because actresses, unlike actors, simply don't register in my brain.
I got one 🙄 there were a few I recognized by face but didn't get the name connection in time, very difficult, for me anyways, and it's pretty amazing how much we humans can change over a lifetime.
She's one of the ones I didn't get. I got 11 right. I used to watch old movies myself but I only seen about two with Shelly Winters. I still watch nothing but old movies.
@shenitagazaway2370 Congrats !! I too love old movies. Many of them before I was born or when I was growing up. Except musicals !!! The only ones of those I REALLY enjoy are--"A HARD DAYS NIGHT, HELP, MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR, and LET IT BE " . Of course there's many from 70's thru the last decade that I liked 👍. Tonight, I'm watching " The Medusa Touch " , from 1978 . GOD bless and enjoy your next pick !
Interesting how many of the men didn’t make it to 70 while quite a few women made it to their mid 80’s. Especially Richard Burton who died at 58. You suppose drinking was a factor?
I got about half of the men, no women. This game actually makes me sad. How the body ages and becomes unrecognizable, in many cases, is heartbreaking. We are just like old, broken down jalopies.
I didn't recognize any of the actresses. Recognized many of the actors, Fonda, Yul Brynner, that's actually the first image of him I've seen with hair. H. G. Wells didn't change much. Tony Curtis looked more unrecognizable in his later years with the hat. William Holden, James Cagney and a few others. Burt Lancaster Didn't change much other than getting older. Didn't recognize younger Spencer Tracy. Rock Hudson, as well as a few others.
These were a little hard because they showed them when they were practically children but I did get 11. It might be because I always look at old movies. I know Yul Brynner as soon as they show the picture. I had also seen a documentary of him before. I love them mother actor. Might be because we share the same birth date.
Coz she would've been waaay older in the photo on the left of her in her youth, than in the photo on the right of her at the height of her fame-and lots of people unfamiliar with her would've complained that they had her photos the wrong way around!😂 🤙
They were very hard! It's amazing how some people are instantly recognizable while others just aren't!
Five seconds for as far back as we were going and in b&w? Definitely the most challenging of them all.
Yes , very hard .
But good fun.
So strange to see Yul Brynner with hair. Very handsome man
Was thinking the same thing. Good actor too.
He played some roles with hair, including his first picture.
I recognized him immediately, even with hair.
This video is so fun and engaging! I loved how you showcased the actors and actresses in their youth-it really brings back memories. Keep up the great work!
I didn't get many, but I was surprised to see how many were from the Midwest.
This is fun. I didn't know I wanted to see pictures of Jane Russell when she was 15
Sorry, I only got one, but I still loved this video. It was amazing to see some of the women from long ago and admire their beauty and some of the men improved with age.
Loved the video! These are the examples of how people can age with grace.
20/25. Some of the older shots were tough. Better quiz.👍
Great quiz! Very enjoyable. I only missed a few because I’m a Baby Boomer and these are the stars I grew up with. It was especially cool seeing Yul Brynner with hair👍🏾
I got Yul, but that's only because his face is so distinctive. These actors & actresses were before my time. I didn't even know some of them.
5/25. A pathetic showing for a 75-year old who loves movies. Great video, keep ‘em coming!!
I entirely agree ... but I was equally (?) pathetic 😅
@@WeeWyllie- Snap, so was I. However, they were hard if you had not also seen photos of them in their youth.
(I am 66, and not an avid film watcher).
Same score, 5/25. I recognized most of them after their names appeared, but a few I never would’ve known. Yul Brynner had a handsome Trans-Siberian face, to be sure. Wow!
I like this! I knew the faces of many but couldn’t remember the names of some! ☮️🖖🏽
No, of course not. Way before my time. 1953.
Of course, I recognize them when they show their name.
Excellent video. Thank you for sharing this video.
"Young" Burt Lancaster looked about 30 easily.
No challenge at all.
Nickname 'Muscles and Teeth'.
Simply thank you for all these memories and wish you a Happy New Year
I missed 2--but not only am I older(60s), the tv station around here shows lots of old movies. I really enjoyed seeing Lillian Gish!!!
17 correct - a lot of the women were from the early era of cinema and hard for me to tell apart when they were young! 😊
Right! I would've never guess Shelly Winters. I knew Myrna Loy, Joan Collins and Maureen O'Hara. The other woman I didn't recognize. My other guesses is were the men.

Got about half. Gena Rowlands, Peter O'Toole, Fred Austerlitz (Astaire) i never would have guessed. Surprised i missed Jayne Russell.
17/25. The oldest ones were very hard! and Rock Hudson?! Wow
I got a whole five right, ha ha ha!
I didn´t score well, most of them had their heydays when I wasn´t even born, but it´s fun to see the heroes and heroines of early cinema.
Got 7 out of 25... There were 3 that I couldn't remember their names but remembered their faces....
Another magnificent two🤣
Tony Curtis and Yul Brynner
I got 21 right, guessed all the men. Women are a little more difficult, lots of cosmetic changes. Great quiz though!
Lots of Midwestern 's...from Fred Astaire's home town!
I am male 85 years old in the UK I got many of these actors I remembered going to the picture houses as we say in the UK in the 40s onwards happy days could we have more of this please many thanks for the memory's take care
William Holden's young picture looks amazingly like Patrick Mahomes, and Hedy Lamarr like Jennifer Lawrence
Damn , missed that Jlaw thing first time.
Got 7 out of 25. Some were easy to spot - Orson Welles, James Cagney, Claudette Colbert. Others looked absolutely nothing like their older selves.
OMG l only got 3 … u did a great job
I wonder how many actors and actresses told their publicists never to distribute photos of them after a certain age so their fans would remember them when they were at their peak.
I am surprised Joan Collins is still alive. I thought she passed away like 5 years ago. Glad she is still alive. And I hope she can make it to 100. 😊
This was difficult. It's so sad to see that a lot of them died so young. I am 69, and for some reason, it shocked me that I have lived longer than some. 😮
Cigarettes
Got about a dozen correct. These actors generally were long lived compared to average population, many in their nineties
*Love all*
I recognized about 12 but only could remember the name of Yul Brynner (he was easy). But these are very old. Several were born prior to the 20th century.

I did very poorly in this test. Good video !
Dang! I wasn’t born til late 70’s so that was way hard. Got Burt Lancaster right and that was it.
Got Curtis, Lancaster and Wells, a few that I kicked myself for not knowing, but most were well before my time.
25/25 Fun! Lifelong Movie fan - Thank you.
I got one 🙄 there were a few I recognized by face but didn't get the name connection in time, very difficult, for me anyways, and it's pretty amazing how much we humans can change over a lifetime.
I missed 5. Quiz was lots of fun.😊
Only got 5...but these actors were a few years before my time.
I got 10 by name and one,Shelly Winters , I knew from movies, especially her swim scenes in Posidon ,but couldn't fet her name!!
The actress in the thumbnail staring
Right into your soul.😂
Those young photos of Rock Hudson and Fred Astaire are a little too young, but most of these pics were recognizable ❤.
Both of them took me some time, but I recocognized them with their eyes.
Interesting how many of the men didn’t make it to 70 while quite a few women made it to their mid 80’s. Especially Richard Burton who died at 58. You suppose drinking was a factor?
Men don't live as long as women... I wonder if it's the stress.
@rustythecrown... You think women are less stressed?!? LMAO! It's the booze and cigarettes
Alcohol and smoking were big factors in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. Richard Burton did both.
Funny thing with Peter O'Toole: when i did see the "young" picture, i thought: oh, Patrick Wilson
I'm 57 and I got two. I imagine if I was 87 I'd have gotten a lot more. Names were all ones I knew, though.
Omg, just got 4!
I did not do well on this! Maybe 7-8
I guessed 10 correctly. Would have got a few more if given a few more seconds.
enjoyed it even though I got omly one !
Yul's youger picture looks like "Crazy Joe" Gallo of New York! 😱😏😎
I looked Crazy Joe up, and you are correct. The black and white newspaper pic of him looked like he and Yul could be brothers!
@FightingForFacts7074
😂🤣 Right?
Admittedly, I don’t watch a lot of old movies, but I’d have thought I’d do a lot better than just one (Orson Welles)!
Tony Curtis, joan collins and Yul Brenner
I'll tell ya who'll blow your mind. Aunt Bea from the Andy Griffith show...
I got all of them!😅
Got 2 -- Orson Wells and Shelley Winters. 😮
Gen z having a meltdown coz it’s too hard, there was no photos of Timmy the chalet maid from five years ago 😂
Only got 6, but should have got 21, as there were 3 that I had not heard of. I knew some others but could not recall their names quickly enough.
My goodness Joan Collins was stunning when she was young.
I think she got better in her late twenties. Have you ever seen her in the original Star Trek episode, City on the edge of Forever?
I missed Peter O'Toole and Fred Astair. The rest were easy, as I've seen them so often, while watching 👀 Turner Classic Movies (TCM).
I got about half of the men, no women. This game actually makes me sad. How the body ages and becomes unrecognizable, in many cases, is heartbreaking. We are just like old, broken down jalopies.
I think i got about 16. Some like the Fred Astaire and Spencer Tracy, I hadn't a clue!
8 out of 25.....😅😂❤ vety interesting.
Yul Brynner looked kind of like Vlad Putin.
I got 19 correct.
Got 1...Orson Welles
Got 11 but Brynner with hair fooled me
I think I got 5 - a lot of "I know that face", but couldn't bring a name to it.
A lot of these people died younger than I am now. Hollywood makes it a hard life for some.
Well I only got 7-but two of them were Tony Curtis and Yul Brynner who are in the thumbnail.
Honestly, most of these I wouldn't be able to put a name to at the height of their fame! Jane Russell was a very pretty young girl...
I got 8 but only if you count it when I couldn't come up with their names. I got 2 names, lol.
Even with their adult photos, I missed most of them.
struggled to recognise only 6 people!! maybe cuz most of the them i didnt know
Didn’t even know most of them in the 2nd picture
Embarrassed to say I got 1, Henry Fonda. I had heard of all the others, but , yeah.
I got all but 4. I wouldn’t have guessed Peter Otoole in a million years,,,lol😊
Oh my gosh, I only got three. Very hard, and I’m a boomer. Some of the celebrities on here I’ve only heard their names.
Yeesh, I got Orson, Burt, Shelley, and Yul.
I'm a Boomer... Did anyone else do that badly on this one?
Too many older actors & actresses in this one, I lost count on how many I missed, Id say more than half
10 out of 25 Hard
Only got two right, Orson Wells and William Holden 😕
It's a lot easier for me to identify the men
I just remember 4 of them❤❤❤❤
Shamefully, I only got 3 right.
I only got 7, six of them were male actors and Shelley Winters.
Actors are the best people
Missed Peter o Toole and Maureen o Hara
These were a little hard because they showed them when they were practically children but I did get 11. It might be because I always look at old movies. I know Yul Brynner as soon as they show the picture. I had also seen a documentary of him before. I love them mother actor. Might be because we share the same birth date.
Joan Collins is the only one still with us !
5 i always get 5
Well, only enter competitions that have 5 questions and you'll be the winner every time!😂
Sadly, I only achieved 8.😞
Burt Lancaster didn't change much.
I got 15😮
I wonder why Shirley Temple wasn't on the list 😏
Coz she would've been waaay older in the photo on the left of her in her youth, than in the photo on the right of her at the height of her fame-and lots of people unfamiliar with her would've complained that they had her photos the wrong way around!😂 🤙
