I starting to restore one here in Ireland..it has the single sided swing arm , iam not worried about fairings but engine is missing bits 😭😭😭..and ii know theres good bit of work ..and the only engine parts I can get is off the go carts ,.I never realised there was a race class that uses the rotax 122 engine ,..so it will save me lot of hassle...love them old aprillas

The radiator is std. The termostatic valve has been removed. The diameter of the holes of the cylinder has been increased from 6 to 8 mm. Silicone pipes.
Hey buddy, can you tell me how did you seal the jolly moto exhaust sleeve and flange, no matter what i do and how much silicone i put, it always starts leaking after one day and it kills the rpm from 13000 to 11500 because of the pneumatic valve not opening fully.
Actually scratch that the exact street where he turns around at about 1:43 is called "Frazione Monteveneroso" in a place called Monteveneroso. Search that on Google Earth and you can explore from there in street view...

Slothminister That’s right. Engine braking will seize up a two stroke engine. For that reason, some transmissions are made to free-run when throttle is off. Theres no lubrication for two stroke engines during engine braking, that’s the reason.
unless you aren't just going down a big hill with engine breaking, i don't think you'll ever have any problems. i've been driving 2 stroke for a while and i've been using engine breaking, because cooking up the brakes isn't that much better. as i said, don't hold it too much and you'll be fine, there's enought lubrication in the crankcase
Hi, 122 block is better for carter and the ignition. 123 cylinder have more power and the hole for the rave. Infact my engine is a mix wit the 123 cilinder worked to fit on the 122 block. In any case the 123 gearbox (shifting quality) is better. Yes in italy there are a lot of RS. you can see www.subito.it/annunci-italia/vendita/moto-e-scooter/?q=aprilia+rs+125.

You get slower if you start messing with the clutch in corners and it really doesnt matter
