yume's studio Same here. I picked Team Squid by closing my eyes and going back and forth between the two teams and then pressed A, and whichever team was picked was the one I'd be on.
I want to support my inkling and octoling (I ship it) but I have to go with octolings because their smart, colorful, cuning, and cute 😍 VEEMO NWEH

Pearl at this point is clearly pretending to be stupid in front of the general audience but it's obviously not working since the general audience obviously knows that they are coexisting with Octolings in Inkopolis and are enjoying their company quite a bit. So let us be honest, a little Splatfest between races would be interesting.

When they first said the cover sheet, i thought they meant if your an octoling you have to pick the octopus side. Then if your an inkling you have to pick the squid side, and you can’t change sides..

Sorry, Team Woomy all the way. They’re the originals, the one and only. I love Octolings so much, but because the Octo Expansion came so recently and Octolings are all that there is in everyone’s mind, of course the bias will be for the Octos. This isn’t my only reason for Team Woomy, but it’s probably the biggest. Also, what will happen if Octolings win? Will there be a Splatoon 3, only we find out all Squids were eradicated by the Octarians?! I can’t imagining loosing my precious Woomy children, even if the Veemo children are wonderful also.
Everyone who I see on team inkling says it's cuz they are the og or something and I'm just think idc I never played splatoon one :p

1:30 I don't get what pearl means she knows what an otcoling is in the otco expansion it says in the final chat room that marine saw octolings hanging out but now she's doesn't know even pearl mention what they where I think I have a answer pearl says at 2:45 "your guess is good as mine" if you ask for help when you failed a level 2 times you will get a mem cake but it is not actually their it is named fazzy memory and on the bottom it says your guess is good as mine maybe something happened when the splatfest is over it's a fazy memory so either something to do with splatoon 3 or something is going to go wrong after this splatfest

What happens if you don’t the expansion but choose team octopus
It's been confirmed if you don't have the expansion and you choose Team Octoling you'll be the Octoling only during battles but you'll be your main squid self in the square.
RB Films and if you have the expansion and choose team squid, you are forced onto a inkling during battle but your back to your main look in the plaza.
Looks like we got a civil war coming up.

cozmo from what I understand, everyone in Inkopolis thinks that Octolings are extinct years ago. Only the squidbeaksplatoon, squidsisters and off the hook knows that octolings are still alive.
