Don't squander your time, kids. Make the memories & accept deeply that your future self will be grateful to have the photos when memory gets imperfect.
Everything that we do is part of life and we mustn't be ashamed of it. The pictures that we have must be kept safe so that when we grow old it will be a reminder that we had a great life. That came to my realization when Covid came, I didn't do much in my childhood or in high school, I didn't join my friends hanging out, join prom, do fun things outside so in short I didn't do what a normal kid or teenager would do. I just studied. So whenever there are opportunities and chances that you can be with your friends, family or loved ones take it, grab it and spend time with them as it will be part of your memorable memories in a picture.

I can't stand looking at myself in photos. It makes me hate myself even more and makes me more self-conscious. My friends don't understand how much it effects me seeing myself when they send pictures of me in the group chat, especially mine alone. I hate them for that, but I guess that's because of how much I hate knowing they see me and know they will see me the way I see and hate myself. Every time I manage to be a part of a group photo I end up looking so ugly that I stop joining group photos because of the fear I might ruin the picture because of my face that is in there. At the same time though I still want to do something like that. I just want a group photo of the ones that I actually feel close with because that way I'm not worried if the picture ruined because of my body and or not since they're used to seeing me.
