Energylandia has started the prepare the ground for construction this week. I was a bit pessimistic since I did not see any work when I visited in late July 2017, but my guess is that they will be ready for at least a late summer opening next year. And as I said on the trailer video. I'm so excited for this! Intamin know how to make super thrilling coasters, and the sheer size of Hyperion makes this project very, very promising :D
Those skinny little arms that flip the car back to right position...they don't look strong enough to withstand doing that over and over. I'd love to know more about this ride's fail safes and materials.
Best drop tower I've ever ridden, and I doubt any drop tower will be better for thrills
