The best season to grow foraged items on the farm is winter. The snow yams and crystal fruit are worth quite a bit. I save all the winter roots I get from killing slimes it the other seasons to put into the seed maker so I have seeds to plant on the first day, after that I use the crafting recipe to make the seed packets. I normally make 100,000- 200,000g each winter just from foraged goods. To make more forageable goods appear outside of the farm you need to clear all the weeds, rocks and sticks in the in the forest areas. Good luck.
Fun Fact, Mushroom levels will decrease by one. For example. You found mushrooms on Level 82. The following day you will be able to find them on 81. They will then choose a Random level between 80 - 120; such as 84, 104, 99, etc... Then decrease again one level per day. Hope this helps.

You can even plant a tree in fall, have it grow and become a mushroom tree, though it is less likely. The mushroom tree event has a 5% chance to happen every day in fall. It picks 10 spots where the event happens, THEN looks to see if there is a fully grown, untapped tree in that spot. If there is one, it becomes a mushroom tree. Once you have one, clear the area around it and it will spread like any other tree. Even if you had every possible spot covered in trees in fall, it is POSSIBLE (but unlikely) to not get a mushroom tree (either you fail every 5% chance, or every spot picked didn't have a tree there, as every fully grown tree has a 1 tile radius around it where no trees will grow). Again, the rules for "trees" are different from "fruit trees" which require a two tile radius and take 28 days to grow.

Then I see you only removing the bushes and not the sticks and stones. bushes generate more bushes next to bushes, and since you get the mixed seeds from them, just break those ones with your axe and leave the rest to produce you more bushes. Just only remove the sticks and stones for now since the there will be a chance that fall converts a tree to a mushroomtree.

Yes, you haven't gotten any wild seeds yet. You keep eating and selling your spring forage. Don't forget you can turn in one set of foraging goods in the community center and get 30 spring seeds, which you can sell if you don't want to bother planting them.
Same with the forest etc, the more the wood n weeds are clear etc. The better. It's said that each day the program looks to see if a spot is open to spawn new forage and if it's occupied, it just doesn't show up. So the clearer is good
The +1 Wild Berry harvesting reffers to the amount of salmonberry/blackberry that you get from the bushes, at lvl 4 foraging you get that and if i'm not mistaken at lvl 7 or 8 you get another upgrade to it, so you can pick up to 3 berries from the bushes.
I am bit new on the mushroom tree thingy, but I think in Fall it pick one tree to change into mushroom tree. Then that mushroom tree will drop random seeds around it, with growth stages similar to those tree types, but becomes a mushroom tree when fully grown. You can tree tap them for cheap common mushrooms, or chop them down for red/purple and maybe other types?
Put a chest next to the elevator at the top of the mine. That way, you won't need to go home first to empty your inventory before mining. If you keep your weapon there, it doesn't take up inventory space while you're running around and you won't forget it back at the farm. And finally, if your inventory is getting full when you reach an elevator level, you can just pop back to the entrance to drop everything off. You'll often end up with more stuff in the chest than you can carry home in one trip, but you'll never be forced to stop/delay mining due to inventory issues.

I don't know if you know this, but the mushroom levels move down one level per day from level 80-120. So if on the 18th of spring you find the mushroom level on floor 83, then on the 19th of spring it will be on level 84. On days when the mushrooms would be on a level ending with 0 or 5 (for example 80 or 85) there will be no mushroom level. After hitting floor 120, the mushroom level resets to level 80. You can use this to your advantage to go searching for mushrooms on days it will be on levels ending with 1. So on the 26th of of spring, the mushroom level will be on level 91 for you, and you can reach them without ever mining for ladders.
If you are in need of energy, the Egg festival does have an opportunity for you to acquire a stardrop from the egg hunt. And there is a good path you can take that ensures your win, and then every other egg festival and hunt you attend, you can get a good chunk of change from winning the hunt. Also, If you find yourself needing to plan things out, check the weather on the tv to see if it will rain the next day or not. If it is raining, then yo'll know its coming and can plan to upgrade your watering can, lets say. It helps to know what the weather will be like in the coming day and you can plan ahead to make things easier for you.

Mixed seeds give farming experience not foraging. Craft wild seeds to level up foraging faster. For spring you just need one each of daffodil, dandelion, leek and wild horseradish. It gives 10 seeds every time you craft one.
You're going to want to upgrade your axe- a copper axe can cut those stumps, steel can chop the logs. The hardwood stumps respawn every day and are worth foraging XP, on top of selling the hardwood.
Has Demitruis come around to do stuff with your cave yet? Both options would be good for foraging, but mushrooms tend to be more valuable than the fruit options.
i'm having the same problem, a single plot stays watered overnight and the plant doesnt grow to the next level once in a while, its always the same plot D:
On my farm I rushed the iron axe upgrade to get to the secret woodland to get ex for the extra hard wood. Although I comes on your farm 16 every day if you unlock the Forrest it adds I think another 8 hard. Wood per day.
I know its just your start.But at level 5 pick The Foraged items found doubled.And at level 10 pick Foraged items are Always the Higest Quality.And then you can go to lvl 80-90 in the mines and you can forage iridium star mushrooms.

digging up worms counts for mining xp. fyi. also go for a copper axe stumps give loads of forging xp and you can leave other trees grow.
it looks like it's already been mentioned, but wild seeds are the foraging seeds, and mixed seeds are just random farming seeds.

Harvey Smith the secret forest should give you 12. There's a hidden tunnel to 2 stumps in the southern part of the forest.

u get mixed seeds from all weeds. just lower droprate on normal weeds for those. u also get mixed seeds from hoeing worm tiles sometimes.
