@@wassey5066 you're welcome. And it's not just NASCAR, NHRA, NBA, Indycar, TV commercials or the NFL that's invested in stock tracks like these. Cartoons do these stuff as well. The 1988 track "Quest for the best" by David Reilly was first used in an NHRA tape called "Decade of Thrills 2", and it would be reused in commercials for stuff like the Pennsylvania Lottery (Where Gus jumps into the pool with a dated Wilhelm scream..) and even reused for the 1990 NHL All Star Skills Competition in Pittsburgh (night before the game). But ultimately, it was in 2004 when this song finally rose intro prominence with an episode of SpongeBob called "The Kusty Krab Training Video", in which the song was used in quick cut montages to transition into different sequences, plus, that would be it's end credits theme for that episode only. (That pathetic series was America's favorite toon back then, but it was Johnny Test, Wayside and The Replacements among others that really got a young me going. Love you Canadian toons, and you too WPVI.)

Why not just use Sega's Daytona USA theme? Easily recognizable earworm and a classic banger
