Well said brother, bad govt and some bad citizens always vote for them, emancipate your mind Africa people and vote for good government, cheddar all the way period
I recently watched a documentary on the chicken that is exported to Ghana. It’s basically the unwanted stuff from other countries things that won’t give them a profit. Or meet they don’t like.
I would like to understand why governments finds supporting importers to be easier to get behind than business people setting up local production because the government wouldn't even need to provide any cash in some instances, the entrepreneurs can handle it all given some advantage in return. So why?
Charlie am staying in bolgatanga,i feel sad whenever i see Ghanaians women going to Burkina Faso to import tomatoes to Ghana when we have all the fertile lands in Ghana.our unfertile land in Ghana is the fertile land in Burkina Faso.
A Ghanaian will always say negative things about Nigeria first before acknowledging their efforts , Nigeria has economy and security problem, tell us if your debt default Ghana economy is doing better ,The Nigeria economy is still far better than the fragile Ghana economy.. Ghana and other smaller west African countries are like states in Nigeria federation,if as small as your country you also have multiple challenges why do you think Nigeria a country with almost 20% of black people on the continent don't have challenges. We seeing how Ghana ran on debt default with IMF bailout exercise occuring almost every two years. From debt cancellation in early 2000 to rede-nomination of currency that was exchanging for 1.💲to 10,000.cedi ,cutting ✂️ off 0000 to automatically make 10,000ghc to be 1.ghc , today 1$ is now exchanging for 17.Ghc with debt to gdp ratio almost at 100%... Rede-nomination doesn't change currency value, 1$ in actual sense is 170,000. GHC .... 18.ghc is still the minimum wage in Ghana per day
How come Dangote has his 'tentacles' everywhere in that country, lol? Is he the only who has access to capital? I find that a bit strange. Anyway, for us in GH, we are not good at copying concepts and theories, we dwell on half-truths as the full picture. Our politicians think capitalism means everything should be left to the market (without the govt also participating, to an extent, as a "competitor"). The governing style should change to federal states, whereby each region would be in charge of their 'destiny'. The districts/regions should run like a profit making corporation to sustain itself; Cheddar has been proposing something like that. If the GH districts have to fend for themselves to survive, they'd hopefully take commercial farming (and similar endeavours) seriously. And considering our population growth trajectory, the centralized govt system we have currently is not sustainable.
You know nothing about Nigeria, check BUA , check every important sectors in Nigeria they are dominated by Nigerians, you only care to hear about Dangote, check your Ghana banking sector, those banks dominating ghana are own by other Nigerians
@@kabifest8897 Of course, I don't know anything about Nigeria, that's why I posed the question. Duh!!! And you did selective comment reading!!! Do you think if GH 'leadership' was good at copying, Nigerian bankers and foreign bankers alike would be allowed to operate in our country?
@@gh_blaqsoap2846 Ghana don't have the financial and intellectual capacity to dominate their own space that is why the important sectors in Ghana are dominates by foreigners... Nigeria banned rice importation since Jonathan regime. We've been producing our rice

I clinged when I heard that.
This mumu guy have always seen Nigeria through firstly negative lenses
He tried couple of years ago, but it was frustrated.
We do not need more monopolies in Africa. He is connected so he can by influence.
I wish cheddar would forget being president and focus on buying ghana from our leaders.
Wrong Nigeria don't import rice
