"Tour of the Catechism of the Catholic Church" is given by Fr. Daniel J. Mahan, S.T.L., pastor of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Bloomington, Indiana, and St. Jude the Apostle in Spencer. He will cover the entire Catechism in 111 videos, 10-25 minutes long each, giving an outline of the content along with clear easy to follow explanations. It will be based on the 2nd Edition of the Catechism.

This catechism consoles souls largely
Thank you so much for these videos, I'm learning so much about my faith. This message is very important in today's world especially. I've been hearing so much from others how you can become God if you try hard enough and if you meditate long enough. This is so common in yoga/new age culture and in today's media with celebrities making these ideas popular.

For anybody out there who comes across this message that is being spread and being popularized. Be careful, don't fall into the same mistake Adam and Eve made.

Good day Fr. Daniel, I just want to ask why St.Augustine reflections on the original sins is about Adam & Eve committing sexual sins,have the CCC somehow expound on this..Also, St. Irenaeus said "the Son of God became man, so that men will become god."..When I reflected on this words...it has a good connection on the seductive/tempting words that Satan used to bait Eve to commit the sin of disobedience.As Adam knew that God place them in the Garden for the perfection of their humanity to become like God to be worthy someday of entering the Kingdom of God...Satan offers Eve a short-cut to become like god, and eve falls into the trap..would you mind sharing some light on the reflections of St. Augustine.thanks for this Cathechism series it would a lot easier for me learn more about our faith.Godbless!

How can we be guilty of original sin as stated around 13:30? Is a child born HIV positive guilty of being born this way? Of course not! I just don't get the logic of this.
