Brilliant. I love those old Morgans. Need to be a bit brave/nuts to drive one hard.Really look forward to seeing this come together...hopefully shorter than a few years!
Way back when I started working the PVGP in 2007, one of the Morgans was out there on the track in the pre-war class. It was always fun to see, with the engine working away out front. I hope you have some luck getting the car to work.
I'm sure I will eventually but the car is at my Dad's house in NC right now, so no walk arounds until the next time I'm where it is. What sort of videos are you looking for?
@@StefanVapaa I do not want to make a model. I want to make actual engines. I have a duplicator that should be able to carve a foam replica of the engine and then make a casting. Then we can go from there and mill out the inside and when we have a perfect copy then we make a wooden copy so that we can make more. I Ama chemical engineer but I was hit while riding my 1957 Harley and nearly lost my leg and my life. I decided I was going to do what I love and not just work for someone else. I am starting a shop that specializes in pre WWI race cars and sports cars equipped with magnetos and/or distributors. I am going tomorrow to pick up set of AC Delco analog diagnostic equipment. Then next week I am going to Milford and picking up a Sun Autoanalyzer. My best friend is in Wilmington and has a business on Ayer street. I am outside of Philadelphia in King of Prussia. are you on Facebook? We definitely need to get together my friend.
@@StefanVapaa I think I found you my friend. I am building a 1928 Morgan with a wooden over steel frame covered in aircraft fabric and sprayed with plastic dope. I am using an opposed twin experimental airplane motor mated to an MG transmission with a hand cast aluminum two piece adapter. That way I have a reverse gear and 4 speeds forward.
You are very lucky to find a treasure such as this. Good luck
Thank you. I am really looking forward to getting started on it soon.

Fantastic and worthy project! They are so very cool. Loved riding in a friends car! Look forward to seeing many updates!
Got a lot of respect for the work you put in these builds

Good luck with it, seems theres a few other goodies up on that shelf worth a view.
Nice one pal. Good luck. I have a modern M3W . My dream is to restore an old three speed. I have subscribed ...
Hopefully you'll still have a full head of hair once you're done. Good luck and thanks for sharing Stefan!
Can you make more videos of the Quantum IV?

@@StefanVapaa Exhaust, racing, maintenance, anything about it really, I'm just so fascinated by them and there is very little footage on the internet!
How is progress?
Are you in Wilmington Delaware? I would love to copy that engine and make a casting of it. Maybe we could get together sometime.
I am, yes. Do you make models of engines?

Hows progress a year out?
I plan to start with the body repair and that should start January 2023. That is assuming my friend's woodshop is available at that time!
