How to Change Google Chrome Avatar with Custom Picture (2023)

If your custom Google Account profile picture is not updating to your Google Chrome profile. I will show you how to fix that. You will also learn how to customize your avatars for both your Google Chrome profile and Google Account.
You can only upload a custom image for your profile in your Google Account. Google Chrome has some pre-set images to choose from but no option to upload a custom image. However, if you sync your Google Chrome profile with your Google Account with a custom image uploaded for an avatar, the Google Chrome avatar will be changed to the custom image.

Here's a tip! you don't need to turn of the sync. let be on and if it's off, on it.
Then, delete your chrome profile. Then, re login with your account.
As you login, it will ask some question if it could sync and other things about bookmarks. Just click ok/got it for them.
And that's it! your chrome profile pic will be the same as your google profile pic.
