Asexuality is perhaps the only thing that is worse for men than women. A woman without sexual urges is somehow, sometimes looked at as a "pure and virtuous" person. An asexual man is often labelled as "impotent"!

But really, i am not even able to imagine how an asexuals thought would work. Really, the GOD must be fine artist showing his stuff on us.
OK a lot of people in the comment section do not have any idea about this issue. Asexual people fall in love, have romantic feelings for their partner, but they do not have sexual desire, like either they are not comfortable doing it or they do not feel pleasure of doing it. But that doesn't mean they do not have any sex, a lot of people do it for their partners or when they need a child, but the frequency is less. They are like LGBT, they are born with it and its not a disease. Also do not misunderstand it with celibacy, celibacy is a personal choice that people make, they still feel sexual desire..
There are women like her in India who get forcefully married because....they're women, then have to oblige to have sex against their sexual orientation and choice because...they're married and marriage in India is a certificate to have sex, they face marital rapes and they can't speak about it because....how can a husband rape his wife right? My heart goes out to such women, not everyone gets to express it, so I encourage every girl out there who knows someone from her circle who can't speak for herself to encourage her to do so.
@@KuchLife_Mein There are forced arranged marriages which exists as well. Parents force on their children against their wishes. This happens a lot still in many part of this country where some parents think they own their children so they can force them to do whatever they want.
Asexuality does not being devoid of human sentiments and feelings, it means not to have an urge for intercourse like most of us have. Asexual peeps date, fall in love, hold hands, giggle, have butterflies and are fucking normal. :)
I don't understand this thing that on one hand ,our parents don't want us to have a boyfriend or girlfriend, (and having sex before marriage is just.........) No need to confess anything in my opinion. Tell her to study better and either get a valuable job or to start her own startup. Parents will forget about marriage once you can earn for yourself.
I don't think there's any need to confess anything. There are chances that your parents won't get the issue. Let it be, if she wants to get married, then go ahead. Otherwise it's better to have a job for a secured future.

Umm no. It's not that easy. You may be asexual and fall in love with someone who isn't. That person will never be completely happy with you because you won't be able to enjoy sex with them and your relationship will eventually end. Either you have to have sex unwillingly just to please your partner or let them find someone else.
But sexual desires are also a part of love....not talking about casual relationships but in a committed relationship, having sexual desires for your partner is so natural. If you are an asexual person its okay but your comment seems to imply that love without any sexual desires is the only pure kind of love. It's wrong, purity of love is based on genuine emotions & intentions towards each other not on desires.

@Noob Veterinarian Demisexual means that you can only feel sexual attraction to people that you are close to and trust, which means there must be an emotional bond first. Like, if you see a hot stranger you feel attracted to them right? (unless you are demi too) But someone that is demi would not feel any attraction. And why this is a sexual orientation and not a matter of simply "falling in love with friends", is because they DONT feel attraction unless they have a bond with them. It is not a choice for them. It is just how they are and they can't help it. This is what I know about it, I hope you got what I mean? You can google it for more info.
How many months did she take to prepare such a beautiful rhythmic speech? I don't think all those words, each sentence ending with the rhyming words were instant, I think she prepared it and I am so astonished how did she spoke so well as if she actually spoke everything on the spot without even thinking what to speak. She actually spoke from heart. Such a lovely soul she is!
They told me I haven't found The right one yet Well honestly as of yet I had found a right few I am going to share those stories Then you will find Some things old and some things new Lets go back to the start The very first time i fell in love Things were said and rules were laid Holding hand and flirting was alright Anything beyond that would not be okay So the problem was that I went beyond and kissed The very first time i was kissed And i was kissed back It was a discovery It was the closest magic that I'd ever felt So the best kisser i was going to be. I learned new meanings of forever I learned to work for again and better. But then i couldn't catch-up in the rhythm or in the rhyme. As a cosmic alarm went off And everybody was ready for their first time I must have missed the alarm Because i am a late sleeper Because i wasnt ready or eager. But when they spoke of it i joined in with equal vigour. I kept falling in love sometimes better other times worst. But "it" was never on my mind And that seemed to be my curse. I kept avoiding it ,eventually i did it But it didn't seem meant to be. Every time it happened i know it wasn't really being me. So i told my friends and a problem with me was diagnosed A lot was said, a lot was done Books were read, new boys were met But problem remains solved by none. Finally I was relieved when they wrote chants of no means no means no means no. But when i said no and i meant no, They said "you have got to a try little more". "Come on, try a bit." "How could you not ?" "Why would you not ?" "No, you do ." "You don't know how." "I will teach you " " I will show you " "Oh my god ! You never felt wow ?" But i had felt wow. I had felt wow in hugs and kisses. I had felt wow every time fingers had run through my tresses. But beyond a point when it went I was left all alone. So i learned to lie in words and in moans. I learned to lie because i didn't want to hurt. I didn't want to loose and i was in love. Who was i to choose ? Who was i to choose me who had none alike? Who was i to choose me who had lost love's every strike? And this was the time when everybody was talking about sex, learning and teaching consent. And i had no one except my discontent. And this is not bashing my lovers They were great . This is not bashing my lovers or my firends. They were taking the care of me, Keeping the bargain at their end. This is not bashing sex either. This is not to prove me greater. I do not celebrate celibacy. I am not a sex hater. And sex haters, you think just the favourite child is the asexual kind? Go out with the boys or with the girls. Your parents never really mind. True, but for that to happen You have to come out. And we're the only ones Who have to use word sex and not love to come out. You see the irony there , I am sure without a doubt. But what must be done must be done. I found a way to make this little easy. And as i go ahead,I know I might sound cheesy. They say you dont stutter when you are singing a song. And as I go ahead I hope you will sing along. ~ I am asexual I am not the only one I am evry thing i need You better recognise me now I am asexual~ There is another song that has phrase, "Cardboard cutout sex appeal" And I always misheard It was carpal tunnel sex appeal. Because for me it was about holding hands, Holding hands to the point of chronic muscle ache. I didn't know , picking my way to love was such a terrible mistake. I have to paraphrase song to tell you I fell all of it, The butterflies and the bees in my very stomach's pit. And if I ask you, why do you need or want sex ? You can't put it in words. I know. And that is a ineffable reason, Thats how i know ,that i dont want sex for sure. And i am not incomplete or in any way less. I am complete but confused. Isn't that such a beautiful mess? And i am broken, imperfect. And that needs mending of a different kind. Dont tell me who i am. Do not try to change my mind. Last but not the least, In LGBTQIA An asexual and an Ally Each and every single way. ~ I am asexual I am not the only one I am evry thing i need You better recognise me now I am asexual~ _Sriti_Jha
Rarely do people pay attention to asexuals. Heterosexuality, homosexuality, the debates carry on all the while ignoring an entire spectrum of people for whom life goes a little different. Either they are told that their condition is "not real", or that being an asexual is impossible. Which is a pretty low blow towards anyone's identity. I just hope someday people won't dismiss asexuals anymore, won't walk over their feelings while pretending they are an anomaly in the system.
@@atomicambition4435 1) Asexual people don't feel sexual attraction to people, it's not just "they don't want to have sex". 2) There's a stigma against them like @Blaze6432 said and they too are harassed for being ace, told they don't exist/it's unnatural, that there's something wrong with them, and shut down. This is to help people understand something that is a common misconception with asexuals. Asexual people (in most cases) are able to get aroused. This was the first question I had when I was questioning my asexuality, because I could get aroused, so does that mean I'm not asexual? And the answer is no, I can get aroused and still be asexual. The thing is, our bodies are wired a certain way to make the process of intercourse easier. So when we are in situations that could lead to sex, a man gets hard (as it would help in penetration) and a woman gets wet (which would again, make the process of penetration easier). Our body reacting this way is biological. Biologically, most asexuals don't have anything that doesn't work. It's just that they are not interested in having intercourse with another person. They can still do it, everything works, they just choose not to because it's their choice. There are also people with high libidos who are asexual and it is tough for them, but if you are a certain way, you just are.
The amount of tears that came out while watching this video is inexplicable. As an asexual man who does experience romantic feelings, what she said really touched me and made me feel like I was not alone. I always have to constantly prove myself that I am no less of a man just because I don't experience sexual attraction. Everyone around me subtly insinuates the opinion that there will come a day where I will change my mind. It's a fight to keep proving that I am what I am. And I am proud of who I am! So, keep fighting to stand as tall as everyone else.
Oh what a diversity in the human world...now I get to hear of it. Her poetry was good. At a point of time, when we hit menopause, I guess we can feel asexual
nope... usually women like more sex after menopause. You can just google it up. Asexual is a sexual orientation not dependent on physiological changes of your body.
It's quite ridiculous how people don't take asexuality seriously (not just in India). I'm not asexual, but I haven't been in a relationship so people have asked me if I'm asexual while laughing. I tell them it's a serious thing, not a joke🙁
I really really feel this. The feeling of getting whatever satisfaction people get from sex from a show of affection. To me the deepest form of intimacy comes from a forehead kiss or when someone holds my hand. What they don't tell you is growing up, being asexual is lonely. Also to explain my sexuality I need to give a vocabulary lesson every one.
this is perfectly normal girls consider their self as bi and all kind of weird terms but we knows girls like literally deep neck kiss for feeling arousal and foreplay for it because they generally have very low sex drive as per their biology but mordern day porn is just weird fantasy.boy get arousal from just 1or 2parts girls have different body parts as sensitive that desired them sex.

This is really really new for me.. thanks for this elaboration.
I liked your explanation but your last statement seems contradictory to me.
"They are like LGBT" really? Are you sure?

There are women like her in India who get forcefully married because....they're women, then have to oblige to have sex against their sexual orientation and choice because...they're married and marriage in India is a certificate to have sex, they face marital rapes and they can't speak about it because....how can a husband rape his wife right? My heart goes out to such women, not everyone gets to express it, so I encourage every girl out there who knows someone from her circle who can't speak for herself to encourage her to do so.

They told me I haven't found
The right one yet
Well honestly as of yet
I had found a right few
I am going to share those stories
Then you will find
Some things old and some things new
Lets go back to the start
The very first time i fell in love
Things were said and rules were laid
Holding hand and flirting was alright
Anything beyond that would not be okay
So the problem was that
I went beyond and kissed
The very first time i was kissed
And i was kissed back
It was a discovery
It was the closest magic that I'd ever felt
So the best kisser i was going to be.
I learned new meanings of forever
I learned to work for again and better.
But then i couldn't catch-up in the rhythm or in the rhyme.
As a cosmic alarm went off
And everybody was ready for their first time
I must have missed the alarm
Because i am a late sleeper
Because i wasnt ready or eager.
But when they spoke of it i joined in with equal vigour.
I kept falling in love
sometimes better other times worst.
But "it" was never on my mind
And that seemed to be my curse.
I kept avoiding it ,eventually i did it
But it didn't seem meant to be.
Every time it happened i know it wasn't really being me.
So i told my friends and a problem with me was diagnosed
A lot was said, a lot was done
Books were read, new boys were met
But problem remains solved by none.
Finally I was relieved when they wrote chants of
no means no means no means no.
But when i said no and i meant no,
They said "you have got to a try little more".
"Come on, try a bit."
"How could you not ?"
"Why would you not ?"
"No, you do ."
"You don't know how."
"I will teach you "
" I will show you "
"Oh my god ! You never felt wow ?"
But i had felt wow.
I had felt wow in hugs and kisses.
I had felt wow every time fingers had run through my tresses.
But beyond a point when it went
I was left all alone.
And this is not bashing my lovers
They were great .
This is not bashing my lovers or my firends.
They were taking the care of me,
Keeping the bargain at their end.
This is not bashing sex either.
This is not to prove me greater.
I do not celebrate celibacy.
I am not a sex hater.
And sex haters, you think just the favourite child is the asexual kind?
Go out with the boys or with the girls.
Your parents never really mind.
True, but for that to happen
You have to come out.
And we're the only ones
Who have to use word sex and not love to come out.
You see the irony there , I am sure without a doubt.
But what must be done must be done.
I found a way to make this little easy.
And as i go ahead,I know I might sound cheesy.
They say you dont stutter when you are singing a song.
And as I go ahead
I hope you will sing along.

There is another song that has phrase,
"Cardboard cutout sex appeal"
And I always misheard
It was carpal tunnel sex appeal.
Because for me it was about holding hands,
Holding hands to the point of chronic muscle ache.
I didn't know , picking my way to love was such a terrible mistake.
I have to paraphrase song to tell you I fell all of it,
The butterflies and the bees in my very stomach's pit.
And if I ask you, why do you need or want sex ?
You can't put it in words. I know.
And that is a ineffable reason,
Thats how i know ,that i dont want sex for sure.
And i am not incomplete or in any way less.
I am complete but confused.
Isn't that such a beautiful mess?
And i am broken, imperfect.
And that needs mending of a different kind.
Dont tell me who i am.
Do not try to change my mind.
Last but not the least,
In LGBTQIA
An asexual and an Ally
Each and every single way.

This is something I wanted to know! Thankyou😊
She is a queen....hats off to her for being so bold
I find her a 1000x cooler for this than her on screen character. You go girl!!
Duh! The crowd needs to listen to the backstreet boys!!

Wow 👏 I m glad these people are expressing their feelings....we will try to understand them and accept them whole-heartedly...❤️❤️
This was so beautiful. Thank you for explaining it to a lot who have hard time figuring out and feeling inadequate
"mental illness" ah moment
Oh what a diversity in the human world...now I get to hear of it. Her poetry was good. At a point of time, when we hit menopause, I guess we can feel asexual
Oh my god. No. Just, no. Menopause does not = having no sex drive. Certainly not the same as asexual.
nope... usually women like more sex after menopause. You can just google it up. Asexual is a sexual orientation not dependent on physiological changes of your body.
@what we must be Aww thanks
Your libido has nothing to do with your sexual attraction ma'am. And that's not how menopause works.
अरे, ये तो अपनी कुमकुम भाग्य की प्रज्ञा है।
Really..........., for me she's Sanya from Dhoom machalo Dhoom ❤️
IT'S HER? DUDE..
That's the bitter truth. being asexual is lonely for most people
this is perfectly normal girls consider their self as bi and all kind of weird terms but we knows girls like literally deep neck kiss for feeling arousal and foreplay for it because they generally have very low sex drive as per their biology but mordern day porn is just weird fantasy.boy get arousal from just 1or 2parts girls have different body parts as sensitive that desired them sex.
@@dmeditz8100 ???? 1. Men can be ace too, it's got nothing to do with biology. And 2. Have you ever met a real life woman, sir?
So well and beautifully explained. I’m surprised to see so many positive well educated comments 👏🏻
Everyone talking about her courage....I'm stunned at her speech structure rhyming and fluency

Yes people's are still on this 🌍..., who Loves truely not sexually...
Give your relationship TIME & accept each other flaws....
But before going in relationship HEAL YOURSELF & DON'T BE always ONE SIDED....🤗
Asexual doesn't mean that you don't want to be loved.. it's just you don't have sex on your mind when you meet your lover. And you feel happy being kissed n hugged. I am confused but I think that I am an asexual.
😅😅😅 don't label yourself early search type of sexuality than give time to yourself and that is the time u can decide what u r
Hii Ritika i m also asexual
for anyone wondering what asexual means, people who are not attracted to other people sexually identify as asexuals
they may like someone romantically, date them, get married, have sex and think someone is sexy also, but they are not attracted to them in that way
So asexual people desire for sex and experience sexual pleasure?
@@Sapientia-hs8xx yes they might
its usually different for each person
@@sans3775 I see, I had an understanding that asexual people desire to have a romantic relationship, but they don’t experience sexual pleasures naturally! I mean they are not interested in sexual activity
@@Sapientia-hs8xx it's so nice to see the comment section be so supportive no ? :)
(except for the haters obv)
@@Sapientia-hs8xx asexual person's can not feel sexual pleasure..but it's doesn't mean celibacy..people who practise celibacy abstain from sex but not nesssecericly they are not sexually attracted to others...some choose cellibacy coz of religious or persnol purpose on the other hand asexuality is an orientation not a choice...
Me being a Biromantic asexual, always being INVALIDATED that this is "Just a phase",you'll meet the right guy, sex is all about trust in your partner like wtf!
I hope people start accepting people as they are or Atleast don't impose how you are on others!
For me, even an Intimate touch privately traumatise me.
Also people need to know that 'Sexual attraction' & 'Romantic attraction' are 2 different terms. You can be an asexual and an Aromantic at the same time BUT you can also be an Asexual Homoromantic or Biromantic asexual or a panromantic asexual. Romanticism includes cuddling, hugs, kisses, holding hands & Non-sexual touch.
Lastly,Being an Ace is not a Phase!!!
~ A Biromantic Asexual.
Thank you for this comment. Most of the comments in here are people being completely uneducated and not wanting to get educated either.
This comment is everything and yes it's not just a phase it is who we are.

She has given the courage to so many people to accept themselves as asexuals. Proud of her!
for some reason, this made me very happy. an actress from the serial my mom used to watch being a part of the lgbtq+community is kind of, comforting? idk how to put my feelings into words
I never really liked her that much, but it surely changed today. I think coming out as an asexual can sometimes be even harder than coming out as a Gay/Lesbian. Because most people just can't accept that you don't want or crave sex at all
LGBTQIA is so sexualized. Kudos to all the asexuals out there
As a demisexual I can relate n understand how it’ll be..
Especially “When he asks you, u never felt wow??maybe you don’t know how to do,I’ll teach you “😂
I had felt wow in HUGS KISSESS n HOLDING EACHOTHER which carries so much of love n trust.. beyond that it needs lots of understanding to make it happen without any whitelies
Waah, what a poetry👍
THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL VIDEO I HAVE EVER WATCHED ❤ Honestly, I absolutely loved the entire video. KUDOS TO HER!!!
In the world of over sexualization of our generation and whole pretentious mind feeding of what the generation needs. The meaning of life from individual persective and choice has lost somewhere.❤
Its so difficult to not want sex and still find someone in life. You have let go people you like, because you can't give up your choices not force the other person to do so
hey i want a life partner to marry , i am asexual and want to love someone with pure heart and want a girl who stands always with me. and me too for her.
i need pure love , pure heart.

Ghosh!! I thought India Is unaware of the LGBTQA community but now I feel like I am not the only one(I am an asexual)!! It feels too good that these kinds of influencers exist who don't only showcase their beauty but also their thoughts which can change our society for better. I hope a happy life to all the ace out their!!
Honestly sister I think all girls are asexual
Wow!
I am amazed how well written and well said this is. I liked the way the words are rhymed. A Poem indeed.
Glad that I found it.
I really hope her career is okay after this. I really really really hope so. She is a soap opera actress and the industry is brutal af.
Finally some ace rep in Indian media- THANK YOU for showing this so people wont invalidate us(now we wait for aros and aro-aces)
People need to know that we exist too
Whether u r an asexual or lesbian ,it doesn't matter , the love n respect towards u n ur soothing soul will always be immensely intact , Sriti Jha❤
I think it's kind of blessing to be asexual in this era. You become less productive and end up wasting a lot of time when you've high libido
I realised I'm asexual too recently. I have dated but I never let the guys go into sexual things, whenever they asked id make one or two excuses, infact I told them that I wanna do it after marriage which make them run away. I just dont have the courage to tell them that I'm asexual. I am on the beautiful side and have what they describe as a perfect body many guys are behind me just for it. And due to this I always prefer long distance relationship so I just want to have that emotional connection and that butterfly feeling. I just feel my life should be over soon as I cannot have s£x and I cannot have babies because I don't want to. Since I'm Desi,my life would end up so and I already know I have no choice eventually.
She is a brave one coming out to Indian society which glorify 'love' and 'sex' as the ultimate duty of any married couples or lovers. I am so happy she come out and become a symbol of courage for everyone who feel similar to her.
reading the comment section made me feel so comfortable. I have always thought that being asexual is weird and I am weird. But when I read all the comments I realized that Its not weird at all and I am not alone. I hope you stay strong people!!! Love you all!!!
