i have the exact same problem. turns out theres a recall on wheel bearings... i did shocks, neoprene bushins, and dual stabalizers. last is checking this trac bar and wheel bearings. i almost want to say screw dodge. i loved them until they broke my heart.
Hi. Is this common problem with RAM ? Im from europe, never had a straight axle car. I want to buy a RAM year 2020 but this shit scared me to buy it. But it doesn't look like a problem with a difficult solution.
How did you fix it? My Dodge 1500 does the EXACT same wobble. I've seen an advertisement for a steering gear box stabilier but the problems the site describes are different.
technically Milford but im in Conashaugh Lakes; community. im always traveling east bound of exit 34 but I go to Dunmore 4 times a year and 84 is HORRIBLE west bound of exit 34!
I love my dodge ram but I'm having the same problem I have done alinements , shocks, new tires , steering stabilizer up grade & now it must be the tie rods / ball joints. I hope ! Good luck with yours . Maybe the goof below me should f&$! Him self imports don't pull trailers or roll coal like the dodge
Happened to me in my 2007 Ram 2500 last night on the highway...TWICE IN A ROW. Mine gets really bad and throws me off of the road. I will never buy another Dodge.
Almost all straight axle trucks have this problem is not just dodge if you didn't know. I just had this happen to me in a semi truck because of worn kingpins.
@@allenseferagic9426 Yeah straight axle's are brutal sometimes. Although it does seem like Dodge is more prone to get the death wobble as their front ends are also junk. Hahaha
lobdsk I’m curious as well lol, just replaced all tie rod ends, the bars themselves, new shocks, new tires and new stabilizer and that only helped going past 65 now it just takes until 75 to do it 🤓
The legend never Dies yea and they destroy tires and run out of alignment every time you bump against a curb and have such soft suspension it feels like you’re losing control from all the rebound
@@Skankhunt98745yea...because gm trucks dont have a solid front axle. Has nothing to do with it being a dodge. All solid axle front ends will do this when parts wear out.
fill a bucket of water, detergent n some dirty close ,now your multi tasking ,sounds like a washing machine of balance

what town do you live in>?
After nearly 2 million miles in 2nd gen Rams, 9 times out of 10 it is a worn/destroyed track bar bushing, replaced a track bar this morning.
its a straight axle problem in general
Exactly. All these geniuses in the comments saying "my gm dont do that". Well yeah, of course it doesnt.
It's not worn out anything I had two brand new 1500 rams off the lot that did this repeatedly.

I tried to send you a Pm but you have friend lock on...I work down the road from you in Hemlock

1500? Does it have independent front suspension?
it is not a dodge's problem only, death wobble is a chevys and ford problem too, even other vehicles have this problem...

Milford PA, love that place. Wish I had a house there.
Don’t blame the truck you have worn track bar bushings ! Replace them !
mine did it causing things to break and rolled off the embankmant rolled 3 times
wtfffff
That's me
Nobody gunna give him credit for riding it out at top speed lol😂
I had a Ford and my 97 dodge and they both do that.
All it is is worn ball joints in front end steering bars
just type in ford death wobble in the search bar and multiple videos pop up.

@@samuelmiller1897 Right that's why my 06 2500 Cummins has 245k on it and drives like brand new. Replace loose bushings and all is fine.
I like the rams but that suspension killed it for me.I had to go with F-150...
HOLY SHIT! so glad mine doesn't do this.. 2001 Dodge Ram 5.9L V8 360ci Magnum. 4x4 auto trans. Buy a 2nd gen yall
it will
Second gens first gens any straight axle truck can do this 😂
6 years late, but I have a 2nd gen and it just did this exact thing. Went over a bridge bump and then wobbled until I slowed down to 40mph.
Lol😂😂😂😂
Thank God I drive a Tundra as daily and pull with my GMC.
I used to have the Dodge death wobble I had it fixed.
AlbertWesker203 so what fixed it

Bullshit you did
interstate 84! live off exit 34, 2 miles before that exact sign
Very easy fix ...........................don't buy dodge
Notice all the other major brands have their own videos asshole. Probably a powerstroke boy anyway
rougen512 chevy’s and Toyota’s don’t have this issue fuck dodge.... I mean fiat
Chris John Michael it’s because they got ifs dumb ass
