Short Film fiction-documentary (ASSAGGIATORE)

Maurizio is an Italian chef from Cecilia, he grew up with his six brothers, and parents in Maasmechelen, Belgium. When he turned thirty years old he moved to Antwerp, Lier, which is far away around 100 kilometers from his family. Maurizio can speak four different languages which are Italian, Dutch, English, and French. Maurizio lives in a building that consists of three floors. The first floor is a small restaurant that has six tables and a kitchen in the middle. The second floor has a dining table, a bathtub, and an office. The third floor has a balcony, a kitchen only used for breakfast, and a living room. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a wardrobe. Maurizio sometimes shares his home with Tariq Al Hamid and works with him most of the time. Tariq is a Syrian national who moved to Antwerp in 2017, and he started working with Maurizio on the third of September 2017. Tariq has a house 20 kilometers away from Maurizio, he lives in it when he doesn’t work with Maurizio. Maurizio is a professional chef that is completely obsessed with cooking. His kitchen is his magical world. One of his hobbies is decorating, he has statues, shapes, and telescopes everywhere in the building that are collected from all around the world, which grabs anyone’s attention instantly. This explains how he never leaves his magical world. Maurizio focuses on all the details of life, he lives with a woman called Annie, that works for him, helps him clean the dishes, wash the clothes, and takes care of his pets.
