In this tutorial I'll show you how to add automation to your Ableton tracks. I'll teach you how to take a track from your session view and move it into your arrangement view. From here, I'll teach you how to enable automation and then add automation to your track (the movement of a control across the song timeline or Session clip is called automation; a control whose value changes in the course of this timeline is automated.). For example, in this tutorial I'll teach you how to automate volume, reverb and delay. However, the same logic can be applied to automate any parameter that's controllable within a track.
