I started doing drugs 15 years ago as a teenage, got addicted to heroin. Spent my whole life fighting heroin addiction. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Heroin addiction actually destroyed my life. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.

I love hearing great life changing stories like this. I want to become a mycologist because honestly mushrooms are the best form of medicine (most especially the psychedelic ones) There are so many people today used magic mushrooms to ween off of SSRI medication- its amazing! Years back i wrote an entire essay about psychedelics. they saved you from death buddy, lets be honest here.

Hey mates! Can you help with the source? I suffer severe anxiety, panic and depression and I usually take prescription medicine, but they don't always help. Where can I find those psilocybin mushrooms? I'm really interested in treating my mental health without Rxs. I live in Australia don't know much about these. I'm so glad they helped you. I can't wait to get them too. Really need a reliable source 🙏

Thanks for sharing your story. That's rough I sympathize. Save your health save your mind. Life is better without heroin, cocaine, alcohol and cigarettes. And you have more money in your pocket. God bless everyone who has rejected the devils intentions to be addicted to alcohol and cigarettes etc which can cause so much damage to health. I will pray for you all.

Be there for them no matter what brother. Stay sober for them no matter what. My stepfather passed away the day after my birthday on August 25th of last year. It shattered my world. My real dad is still here, along with my real mother. However, neither of them put together could form the parent he was. He spent his whole marriage to my mother preaching to me about how dangerous opiates are. I had several surgeries on a bad mesh implant. It still kills me today. I’m 32 and had the surgery at 16 years old. He was the best thing my mother ever did for us short of leaving my dad. I hope he sees this from heaven and knows how much I miss him. I’m still a complete screw up. But I work my ass off and avoid meds as much as possible.

You know that's not going to happen, right? The Democrats need addiction to help maintain the worsening anarchic conditions we are seeing in the country. This way, they will have a "legitimate" excuse to declare an "emergency" when the conditions are just right for it, to limit everyone's civil rights even further, and therefore remain firmly imbedded in power. You know it's true.

      Because people are different.
There's so many variables in people that the drug (the one used in the study) can affect someone negatively even death. Maybe they're on a previous medication that when mixed with can cause serious side effects. Maybe when introduced to someone who has an existing mental condition it will cause severe dementia or mental distress.
People are so different that if you don't foresee a serious side effect before a drug treatment is introduced to the public which later affects them seriously, then now the wonder drug is viewed negatively nevermind the legal consequences that opens up.
TLDR: you don't want to rush a drug through trials just to kill someone who takes it when it's finally available to everyone.

    • @dsandoval9396
      @dsandoval9396 Рік тому

      @@simasahandabady-ki1bk Depends.
Depends how long they've been a user. How much they use, how often. How much they are susceptible to the drug in question.
Some people try uppers (meth/speed/crack) and downers (heroin) but usually just find one drug they find more appealing. Some people have tried every drug but if presented with all drugs in front of them would rather just smoke weed.
These people have found their "drug of choice".
Everyone (users) will go through physical withdrawals, if meth is their drug of choice then it's going to be a long mental battle on top of a physical one.
The longer you use a drug the stronger the addiction in the brain, the easier the brain functions to fall back on addictive behaviors.
From my experience physical withdrawal lasted about a week. However I was a heroin user.
From people I know meth physical withdrawal was not as long as heroin physical withdrawal but again, if it's their drug of choice, then mental withdrawals can last as little as half a month to a couple months, usually depending how bad a person is serious about quitting AND how strong their support system is.

Sooner or later, you'll find one that'll do it.
Tell them to think of it like writing a prescription for treating something that it wasn't designed for, but you know it works anyway🤨🤷‍♂️
If you are addicted to meth, just KNOW, there's somebody out there who cares deeply that you're traveling that road and wishes from the bottom of their heart that you would choose a different road....

4-6 years until treatment is "ready" for the #1 cause of death in Americans 18-49. Yet for a virus that kills far less they will shut the country down and give "emergency use authorization" for those medicines. That doesn't add up to me. If the reason we took such drastic measures when the virus hit was to save lives, and more lives are at risk from addiction, why do we need 4-6 years?

The antidote is simple. So simple you could miss it. Without putting more chemicals in your body. Change your surroundings or move away and get far away from others that use. Then you must turn down occasional offers as you maintain your sobriety, because its everywhere. No matter where you run. You have to choose not to use. The confusion of drug use can make you over-look that simple action/power that we all have.

Its all about the money. I've been working in addiction treatment for a decade now, and as a nation we're failing regarding treatment. There's an herbal remedy that helps opiate addicts, yet those who want to stop it will tell you it kills people, and is just as addictive as opiates. Not true. I've watched it change lives for the better. They're willing to use methadone and Suboxone, which is as addictive as opiates, but they lie about that, because it's a money maker.

So, what I am hearing is that this binds to the methamphetamine in the user’s system, and acts like Suboxone in the heroin user’s system. What, then, is the treatment for the dopamine desert (the horrible come-down that meth users face when they stop using)? If we can’t make sure that they get real treatment (inpatient for >90 days) what will stop them from waiting out the treatment, or finding another dopamine protagonist to replace the meth?

L-tyrosine is an amino acid which can be used to reduce the depressive, anadonic state meht users suffer during withdrawal. it is a precursor to dopamine, norepinephrine and epinephrine. There are numerous studies showing the efficacy of the amino acid. I have seen mixed results though. Do some research on this and other supplements like L-glutamine to balance the glutamate/glutamine/GABA system in the brain. with many other benefits. I am not a doctor but love researching stuff that will help me.

Yes, the comparison to subuxone for H is spot on I believe. I think this treatment would be really affective because the person would use meth and get no desirable effects and assosciate the flat or negative effect to meth, thus making it undesireable. There's a possibillity someone could wsit out the treatment just like subuxone but this is very good to start as a treatment it spunds like. I have experience from addiction to opiates and meth. Recently I did meth again and relapsed and even though I just smoked a little bit it had me messed up for a few days.

Yeah, this means that meth won’t have any effect on them anymore, but they’ll still go through withdrawals. However, a recent study has also found that bupropion/naltrexone can help meth addicts quit.

Right? Its not hard to stop using meth and its out of your body in less then a week but tye problem is that dopamine is so down-regulated that you literally feel like you're living in a zombie movie where everything makes you depressed and it's a raw horrifying pain it seems to last forever so what they need is some kind of way to bring dopamine up a little bit so that people dont have to try and live dopamine free for a month because its enough to make a person kill them self

My Grandmother who doesn’t use at all anymore (for over a decade), held a job and kept her use to the weekends when I was younger. It was a social thing for her as she’s naturally a introvert and easily irritated. And this helped. She quit cause of the legality and as she got older she didn’t need to be as social anymore.

I never understood how anyone could become addicted to Clean, or powder coke. They served the purpose for I needed them for and that wasn't just a one time thing. However, I had to cold turkey from Doctor prescribed oxicotton hydrochloride 30mg and MS cotton 100 mg. That was hell but, I got through it and never turned back. It took a total of 2 years to fully get back to normal. As a matter of fact, I still don't understand the mental aspect of addiction. When I was younger, I smoked K2 whenever I was working on my novel and it served its purpose well. There were people addicted to it as well.
Cigarettes on the other hand wasn't easy but, eventually, after 25 years of smoking and dipping snuff, I kicked it to the curb. Nothing should have power over you and that goes for a loved one as well.
Maybe I'm not full blooded human. Who knows. Anyway, I wish I had advice but the truth is that; either a person has what it takes or they don't. That's the bottom line. ❤

Some of us come from generations of drug abuse and also have caused extreme damage to our brain functions. You are fortunate to have the ability to just make a decision to quit and be able to succeed. If it was THAT simple for everyone....many would just "walk away" from drugs and thrive. Large quantities of synthetic chemicals have disrupted our brains ability to function properly. Mental health issues together with addiction can be so different from person to person. I started using at such a young age....which is another factor....that stops your brain from developing normally. We all have different paths traveled....what is easy for some can be a whole different can of worms for others.
