I always use Mandip’s method when doing mazes.

Always work backwards it's the best method.
I stoped the video at the beginning and used the same method. Then when Madip did the same thing it was kind of exciting.
I do it, too, but I never would have thought to ask if I was allowed to do it in a competition.

@@RobboRobbo ah, you must not have seen the recent interview where Jodie and Mandip answered questions sent in by kids. Jodie talks about a crew member named Robbo who was always getting in her eyeline and how she would yell at him that he was in her eyeline again, and it became a running joke throughout the interview. If you look up Kids Ask Difficult Questions with Jodie and Mandip you'll find it. When I saw your name I just had to make the joke and hoped you'd have seen the interview, but no such luck!
Smart girl, Mandip! That IS the fastest way to do a maze! The competition between her and Jodie is always so funny but of course Jodie can't get mad at Mandip, even if she pretends to be. And Mandip loooooves winning.
Mandip and Jodie are so cute and affectionate, I wish we had seen that dynamic and affection in the actual show. Thank you for my new Danvanista reference pictures and I love John trying not to swear 😂🤣

It’s usually cheating but in the context of the arc of their relationship in the show - makes sense for the doctor to be going towards mandip and vice versa.

@@Taylor-et5ox you realize we ship real people we know all the time, it's just called matchmaking and gossip. Also, every fictional character and relationship is based on real people. Just because more writers are actually admitting that doesn't make it wrong. Go back as far as you want, every society wrote fictional stories about real, well known people like monarchs and even in societies without writing stories were made up about fictional versions real people. Get off your high horse, this is nothing new and is in fact the very origin of fiction and is how every storyteller begins to hone their craft.
The first word that came out my mouth when Mandip asked for solving the maze backwards was “Mandip’s Smart”

Well, going backwards is kinda cheating. It is called Race to the TARDIS, not Race to the Doctor!
It's the opposite of cheating, it's like scoring a home goals in football. Yes she scored a goal or completed the maze but towards to opposite team or away from the TARDIS towards the doctor. There was a reason they put a big red arrow at the beginning of the maze and called it "race to the TARDIS. She didn't win but never completed the challenge in my books.
It is so much easyer to work from the inside to the start. I paused the video when John started to get a good look at the maze....Mandip and I looked at it the same way. Cool.

See I usually start a maze at the end and go to the beginning. You usually avoid all the traps that way.
They'd have been rubbish in the city of the Exxilons.
They have that look in their eye like they're contractually obligated to do this but don't want to come off looking as a slapped ass so they go along
