From the staining on the underside it looks like that carpet was rolled up and kept in a shed or something, glad its going to get used again because its quite pretty

I think maybe a pressure washer would help with the rinsing. It would also take less time and get some more dirt out. Just a thought 🙂

This void why I get pissed when people walk into my house with their shoes on. My rule is shoes off at the front door rug, then you can walk around but some still blatantly do it after I ask them not to. Walking in your home with your shoes on is disgusting, you’re bringing in the filth from outside.
