This world leading electric plane developer recently unveiled the world´s first 30 seater electric airplane, the ES-30 at Heart Aerospace hangar day. I was invited as an investor in the company to the really inspiring event.
In this episode Anders Forslund answers many of the most common questions about the new 30 seater electric airplane Heart Aerospace is developing like why is designed with struts, the turbogenerators extending the range, using Sustinainable aviation fuel, how the plane can maintain the range in different weather conditions and much more.

I like the plane's design. Does it make more sense to use a traditional APU or source the motors to MagniX? This would allow Heart's focus to be on the airframe and vehicle integration.

Heart is collaborating with BAE systems on the battery system. www.baesystems.com/en/article/bae-systems-and-heart-aerospace-to-collaborate-on-battery-for-electric-airplane . The electric motor will be "inhouse", at least for now. Will invite Anders back as soon as I have time, right now preparing construction start of my energy house I´ve designed with a friend so unfortunaly I haven´t had time to invite guests/make episodes in a long while! :P "But I`ll be back!" ;) Best, Johan
