BIOGRAPHY
Franky Corcoran is a playwright, actor, director and podcaster, who started his own entertainment company, Corcoran Entertainment in March 2021. He hosts the weekly podcast, The Corcoran Entertainment Show with new episodes every Tuesday on all streaming platforms.
He began acting in 2013 with his high school drama club and continued to do community theatre after graduating in 2017. Some of his most notable roles include Felix Ungar in The Odd Couple, Eugene Morris Jerome in Brighton Beach Memoirs and Biloxi Blues, Henry Saunders in Lend Me A Tenor, Mr. Fezziwig in A Christmas Carol and Captain March in Little Women. At the New Brunswick Provincial Drama Festival in 2017, he won Outstanding Actor for his performance in Audience by Michael Frayn.
His writing and directing credits include A Miramichi Christmas, Death Costs Dearly, The Lies We Tell Ourselves, House of Violations and Playhouse Quarrel. He directed his first musical in June 2023 with Jonathan Larson's tick, tick... BOOM!
He also has worked as an extra in the TV industry, appearing in the New Brunswick based sitcoms, Brit Out of Water and O'Don's.
As an entertainment enthusiast, Franky is eager to talk about anything with regards to theatre, movies, TV, music and much more. He is also encouraging to others who wish to pursue their own creative endeavours.
