I agree with you, but as a mother of a narcissistic daughter who has caused such mayhem, stress, anxiety and deep deep sadness and constant rejection from her I know it is so so difficult to let go. Emotionally letting go of her is the only way to save my sanity and my mental health and I am letting go slowly day by day but it is so so difficult!

If I was her father, I wouldn't want to see her anymore. The way the Harkles have treated him is beyond a disgrace. There's a great deal of evidence that he doted on her and sacrificed to put her through the most expensive schools and give her everything she wanted.

And it creates a narcissist. Was done in my family to the oldest boys for several generations. They took, were spoiled and entitled and acted like Meghan. Master manipulators and ungrateful. And they were the worst parents who spoiled them.
The only reason she was able to go to expensive schools etc, is because her father won a huge amount of money on the lottery, so he really sacrificed very little.
And I think the only reason Thomas Markle is so fixated on his two youngest grandchildren is because they’ve got Royal blood running through their veins…. He’s got two other (adult) grandchildren that he hasn’t even met, yet they don’t seem to matter to him. 🙄

Before that, she attended a Catholic, parochial, school in Los Angeles, whereby, as a single father, Thomas Markle, Sr., was given a tuition break.
Also, he was very supportive of the school, and helped with plays, musicals, and other extracurricular activities, there -- as a volunteer, in his spare time, after work, as an award winning television lighting director.
(How do I know? I know, very well, one of the teachers, who worked with Thomas Markle, Sr.'s, daughter on yearbook, in drama classes, and taught her in an English class, as well as this person was one of the teachers, at that Catholic high school, who wrote one of her letters of recommendation, i.e., deserved, at the time, for her university applications.)
BTW: It is alleged that her family do not (also) believe that the two children of Harry and wife exist at all, though they did believe it at one time, early on...Thus, Thomas Markle, Sr., is not fooled by non-existent grandchildren...any longer.

She caused her father to have the stroke which she used as a reason he didn't come. But no invitation given verbally or otherwise. She is a heartless conniving woman.
The proof is evident, he was still in Mexico days before the wedding. Her father needed to be in England weeks before, he would need an English tuxedo fitted, practice before the wedding, and instructions in protocol. She was ashamed of him..

I am 92 and I have cut nasty people out of my life over the last year. Believe me they are everywhere, people who cannot cope with successful aging because it goes against their norms. It is an evil jealousy they cant suppress...one of them a close relation in my own case. It is like a load off my shoulders. I advise Mr Markle to do the same, some people love us Oldies for ourselves and are nothing but kindness. It is a lot to decide at the time, but the reward is a happier You. As someone whose father passed away when I was just two years old (I'm now 54), growing up and living all my life without a father, has been one of the saddest parts of my life. My mother is 88 years old, just celebrated her birthday on June 8th....I treasure every, single moment I have her with me. Needless to say, it made Lady C very angry to be possibly used like that to lay those seeds, and she never did include it in her book. She actually mentions this account in her podcast, never doubting Tom's innocence.
