the sentai version of the combonation of the turbo and rescue megazord was that several peices of both RV Robo (Turbo Megazord) and VRV Robo (Rescue Megazord) were damaged, so the Carranger team (yes, thats what the team was called in Japan) had to combine both mecha to form the "Scramble Intersection Robo" (the combination here in America is called "Rescue Turbo Megazord") youre welcome

In the show (and for some reason i really remember this) the Turbo Megazords legs and hands were damaged in a fight. When they called the Rescue Megazord, it got chained up and was being beatin on. The torso was the part that was chained up, so they released the arms and legs and gave them to the Turbo Megazord to finish the fight. At least that's how I remember it.
The deluxe turbo Megazord looks like a pretty cool megazord toy

Funny thing about these megazords...When the episode where the Turbo Rescue Megazord first appeared in America I ran over to my friend's house and we combined my Turbo Megazord with his Rescue Megazord. It was pretty fun back then.

Carranger (Turbo's Sentai counterpart) was a self-parody, so that alternate combination was just for shits 'n giggles.
In the show it kind of annoyed me that they didn't show the rescue zords high-stance mode transformation that much. They showed the Red zord transforming, but the others would usually just be driving along and then there'd be a flash, and suddenly they're in high-stance mode.
Power rangers turbo was the greatest power rangers series and the megazord had an excellent finisher
The doors on the wind chase slid up too!
This was back when bandai america cared about quality, the PR-Samurai zords R supposed to have 2 modes besides megazord as well, but we only got 1!

Ah my friend had Robo Racer! Always wanted him. I have the Turbo Megazord on the far left. Some scratches but nothing is broken. Is that worth much now?
When I opened this for a christmas present, it had this gooey white substance. Silly parents, these toys are for kids!!

If I remember right, i think the black heels go on the 3,4 Turbo zords when they connect with rescue 1,2 when you trade the arms and legs of both Turbo and Rescue Megazords
I really do find it awesome that he knows most of the names of them. I actually think if you ever have the time you should do every series of power rangers
Here's my theory on why Zordon chose these teens. It's not because they're teens, it's because he felt they would be perfect. The whole secret identity could be so they don't get sued for damages done to the city.

The interchangeable parts were in Carranger called "Super Emergency Fusion Scramble Intersection Robo" aka a plot device to show off the toys ability to mix and match. I'm guessing its a precursor to the full-fledged limb-swapping/auxiliary mecha we started getting in Gaoranger/Wild Force.
Power rangers turbo was a wonderful show and wonderful mecha combinations as always
The Robo Racer usually has its visor down. It only comes up to reveal its eyes during a finishing move.
I like the Turbo Zord mixed with the Resque, its funny how the guns were pointed at the sky fireing in rage! O:
That handcuff for the Robo Racer reminds me of the pully bit from a beyblade launcher.

I remember having the Robo Racer. It was so cool. I stole it from a kid when I was in Elementary School. I took it from his bag during lunch. He was upset, but I wanted that damn toy. No idea what happened to it now.

basically, the count trapped the rescue megazord in this cross type thing, and when the turbo megazord was summoned, the arms and legs were damaged. so carlos came up with the idea to switch the limbs around, and that pretty much sums it up

Now that I look at the Robo Racer(and by default it's Japanese counterpart)... It really seems like the Omega Ranger (SPD)'s Zord, the Omegamax Cycle is an ohmage to the Robo Racer. The Police theme is obvious, but also the blades and design of the over all zords. Nice too see PR/SS and Bandai doing this

The smallest ranger gets the biggest zord while the leader gets the smallest zord.

awesome vids dude, so nostalgic. I remember getting a ton of these when i was younger and took them for granted... should of kept them in good condition, im sure they are still fun to mess around with
16:06 actually in my experience, wheels with rubber tires tends to actually roll easier than plastic wheels. Plastic wheels gets stuck most of the time.

Johnny Yong Bosch always compains at cons and interviews about Turbo. "Tommy got the race can and the little KID get's the freakin' monster truck... and I got a green Mini-van"
On the cannons for Artilliatron there are notches towards the back, they actually hook on to the edges where the water cannons are for turbo rescue red. That way they don't slide off of the arms.
Were artliatron and the rescue zords sold separately? I ask because i remember having both sets as a kid, just can't remember if they were sold together or not.

If memory serves me correct, the Robo Racer has a motorcycle. I think it was like a scrambler or something. I don't know ( just trying to revisit my childhood here...)

Yeah, I didn't think about that. Still, he would have gotten the dump truck should he stay in the show.
What's really funny is I was watching Power Rangers in Space that features an episode about odds or something like that and Carlos was giving up being a Power Ranger because he was afraid of hurting his friends and Adam tried to encourage him. I was like: "Don't worry! I had the worst zords imaginable but I never left the team."

Actually, in the show (for the Turbo Megazord formation), the pink zord part came before the green and yellow one. And the formation sequence in the movie is pretty much the same as in the show, the only differences are the red zord isn't falling off a cliff and the way they "rise" the megazord (some rocket thingy underneath the cars instead of hitting the brakes).
Also, in the show, the Robo Racer (warrior mode) and the Turbo Megazord are the same size.

You know, the second half of Turbo marked the official start of a different era that would last for five years until the near end of Wild Force: the Post-Tommy Oliver Era.
The reason that the mix up of the 2 megazords is because The Rescue Megazord was caught in chains so they did the best thing they could do. they could not get the siren blaster and Lightning Fire Tamer out of the chains but the other 3 could get out so Carlos got the idea to combine them.
I just see your videos, and really a lot of good times come to my mind, hey, well done!
Which is funny because there is a video about the actor in an anime con or something like that. He didn't actually say it in the video but you can tell by the title and the audience reaction that he said, "I'm a frog" shortly before the video started. He told a funny story about that, that it wasn't actually in the script.
I like the Turbo toyline, but the actual show was marred by under explaining everything.

Lightning thunder is a sports car, mountain blaster is 4x4 truck, desert thunder is a minivan, dune star is a sports utility vehicle, and wind chaser is a race car.
And FYI yes They did use the Cannons from Artillatron Via the Rescue Megazord Finisher
the movie version was:
blue would stay in place and open the connector ports.
yellow and green open up and flip their feet out and slowly connect to blue
pink splits in 2 and slowly moves into place and connects
red would just drive up the ramp, everything connects and shuts, then for no reason, it lifts up and becomes a working robot
oh and in the movie they where normal sized cars, but for the megazord they just explode into hugeness.

Still have my Rescue Megazord I got 21 years ago for my 12th birthday. It's a little worn out, especially Siren Blaster, but it still holds together.
The heels for the Rescue Mega zord was good for if you tried to stand it on carpet.

His green truck rescue zord has the front flap staying up…..why? Mine flapped down, with no snap click in to to keep the flap up. Was mine defective?

Mhh, all the tires on my Turbo Rescue Megazord are plastic. Was there an alternate version released at some point?
question, okay we know all the rescue zords are superiror to the turbo zords right? so why replace limbs from older models and use them for yourself?
