I don’t think polymer clay will be able to fully cure if you boil it with water! It needs a stable temperature of 275F for the most popular clay brands. The clay packaging always recommends baking it in the oven!
I am using polymer clay (oven bake clay) so they will not cure without an oven. Air dry clay hardens naturally without an oven so you may want to try using that instead!
quick question, are those white tips you use to flatten is a brush or silicone tip? also, do we need a certain device to bake or a normal oven would do? thanks!
Hi! If your clay is too soft you can try removing some of the oil that’s in your polymer clay by wrapping it with paper and leaving it for a few hours! The paper will soak up some of the excess oil. The brand Fimo has firmer clay but it’s sometimes too hard for my preference. I like using Premo, the consistency is not too soft or hard 😊
hi! i have a question, can you still take it out after attaching it to the phone case? i'm scared if i change my phone case, it couldn't get out! Anyways thanks for the tutorial!♡♡♡
Hi, thanks for watching! ❤️ yes you can take them out but you will need to use a lot of force just like sonny angel hippers! After taking them out you will need to replace the nano tape (it won’t be sticky anymore)
These are Soo cute I seen this vid on Pinterest so I went to ur channel after some brief searching and I have no regrets keep going I hope u get 10k🫶🏾💗
Yes I think air dry clay could work! It may be harder to work with though since it dries quickly and you will need to coat it with varnish/ uv resin after painting since it’s not waterproof!
ahh these are so cute, i tried to make smth similar before but i used home made clay w/ cornstarch, glue and stuff...but i made it bigger than these and it isnt sticking very securely onto my phone even with nano tape :(( ill deffo try to make a smaller one like this next time
@@Yarethzis_music I mixed different colors and brands for the cat! Sorry I can't remember specifics but I remember using sculpey souffle, premo, and craft smart clay to get the purple

they are so cute omg which one is your favorite for me it’s a tie between smiski and miffy but the cat was hard to not tie with them too!
Thank you! It’s a hard choice, but if I had to choose, it would be miffy! Miffy pairs well with any color phone/case and was the easiest to make 😊
These are so cute! Might just give these a try!
ahh these are so unbelievably cute and inspiring
oh my god thats adorable! youre very creative and skilled 😊 cute!
Thank you so much! 😊
THIS IS SO CUTE OMG
Ypu are so sweet I was just founding this thing but now I can make it diy ❄️✨💗
is there a substitute for the acrylic blocks?
I think you can use a phone case or a box with straight edges as a guide!
I’m definitely gonna do this!
This is such a good idea! Im definately gonna do this btw my fab was the smiski one cuz it glows in the dark
Are you able to use air dry clay instead of polymer clay
Yes you can use air dry clay! I find polymer clay a little easier to sculpt with and it’s more durable and waterproof after baking!
I need to try this , such a brilliant idea😾💝💝💝
is it waterproof?
polymer clay is waterproof after baking! for extra durability you can also glaze them with uv resin
Question what happens if the smiski is boiled instead of urm. Oven?

can it harden without using an oven?

I'm about to go to the store now hopefully Walmart has some 🤭🎀
quick question, are those white tips you use to flatten is a brush or silicone tip? also, do we need a certain device to bake or a normal oven would do? thanks!
Hi, the tips are silicone! You can find the 5 piece set on aliexpress if you search for “clay tools”! You can use a normal oven to bake the clay!
can i use the clay from monte marte instead?
Yes if it's polymer clay (oven bake clay) or air dry clay!
pls make a series of making or doing a small figures of smiski 🥰😭
Can someone tell me what to use insted of resin to glaze thes
I used sculpey glaze in the video! It’s designed to be used for polymer clay but is less durable than uv resin
saw your tiktok!! thank you for sharing hihi can’t wait to do thisss
hi! if my polymer clay keeps melting/sticking to my hands, do I need a more firm clay? which clays would you recommend :)

soo cute i love it!!
These are so good! How did you bake them without them flattening? I've tried baking them on their backs and it becomes flat.
Thank you! 😊 If your clay is soft then they will have a flatter back than firmer clay! You can sand the surface after baking to smooth it out
You can bake them on cornstarch :)
What tools are you using ?
It’s a 5 piece clay tools set that has silicone tips on one side and dotting on the other! You can find it on amazon/ aliexpress or temu

I’m using the same clay but idk how long to bake it for ◠̈ how long did you bake yours?
It will depend on how thick your piece is! I think I baked for around 40 minutes (I usually place it back into the oven if I find it to be underbaked)

Can u also use air dry clay to do this ?? I don’t have polymer clay but i rlly want to do this as well!

If you’re using polymer clay it needs to be baked to harden! If you use air dry clay it can harden on its own
Scarameow?! aaaa
can i do this with air drying clay and will it have no difference? cs im planning to sell phone charms like this in my country 🥹🥹
