There's something so inspiring about watching character development ... not the character's development, Jazza's development as an evil narrator. During the stream, the line "I'm so happy you guys are traumatized" was thrown out, and watching this for a second time now, I can confirm that there is trauma, and that Jazza is happy about it XD
Jazza did come across hilariously sadistic & drunk on power 🤣🤣🤣 (But his storyteller evil _may_ serve a glorious greater good if the result of such trauma is Delvin rolling up his sleeves to start playing _ruthlessly_ dirty & more of the majesty that's a _properly_ pissed off Katalina 😜)
Truthfully, though, the emotional whiplash I experienced between the touching sweetness of Medaela dancing with Delvin & what leads up to his trying to start the bar fight as an outlet for how _not okay_ things went after? 🥺 Some of the most intense RPing I've seen in ages... Possibly even more riveting than Chapter 16 of REBOOT.EXE! Just wow!!! 😲😳 How do all of you just keep getting better & more amazing with every episode??? 🤯 💓💔💓💔💓
And... who the _f#€k_ was the person in the mask that was holding the bag containing the head?! Our heroes were too blindsided by the contents of the bag to pay much attention to the one bearing it, but... masks are usually to keep a person from being recognized, so could it have been concealing the identity of someone one of the party has _met_ at least once before, or even worse someone they actually _know_ personally? 🥺😳 Please Jazza I'm _begging_ you, _please_ don't let that masked person have been who I'm afraid it was! 😭😭😭 (You seriously have me anxious & terrified in the _best_ possible way & setting my alarm to watch the next Twitch stream live despite the 16 hour time difference 😂)

I'm holding out hope that they'll be able to retain the trust between them, that Brick will be able to "creatively interpret" orders from Ainsley so that he _is_ still on Delvin & Kat's side. Perhaps in the sober light of day Delvin will recognize how much headway he's made in convincing Brick to start thinking for himself (which Rob did a _fantastic_ job of conveying through Brick's "order defying" protecting Delvin from his own self-destructive attempted bar fight in a _beautiful_ reflection of when Delvin told Brick that sometimes the best way to serve Medaela was put her _safety_ ahead of her _orders_ because as a child she doesn't always know what best for her)? A girl can dream, right? 😂🤣
I made the mistake of reading this before watching all of the video 🥲 I had an inkling that Delvin wasn’t going to get to keep his Brick just from the title and thumbnail though so 🤷

Wow. I had a bad feeling about "The Trader", but I had no idea it would go in this direction. I hope the bonds these characters have formed will withstand this new development. And I hope the children will be safe in their precarious circumstances.
Can I just say The Dealer has done so much to hurt Delvin in particular like he not only killed poor Edgar, threatened to harm Delvin's mother, but also took Brick away from him. Sure, Brick is still traveling with them, but now he's basically a spy for the enemy. It also hurts that Delvin tried and tried to get Brick to learn that he has an opinion and the right to do what he pleases, but he didn't quite get there, but I'm sure he was planning on continuing breaking down Brick's walls even after the mission was completed. Now some DUDE decided he was going to take ownership over Brick with some stupid paperwork?!? And we all know DANG WELL that this monster is not gonna treat Brick with the freedom and kindness he deserves and if this dude gets what he want Brick will never know what it means to be free.
Holy high emotions, Batman! This series gets better and better. Delvin, Brick loves you! I just know it. At least I want it! I sat here with my mouth open when they brought out the thing they brought out (no spoilers!) and I could see the devastation in the players' faces. Well played all PCs. Well crafted Jazza!

_Please_ tell me I'm not the only one who's like 90% certain that -our favorite Barrowan boi - with his ability to slip into different personas/disguises like a "flesh suit" & his recent outright admissions to Mikey of having grown up a street thief (presumably after the Felbrook fire & the caves) - uses his whole "overly self-conscious about his body" thing as an excuse to keep an old Watcher brand from being spotted???- 😜

And _maaaybe_ it's just a coincidence that when "Francel" conned their way in the Geldervale gate without having to surrender Brick's bardiche he also conveniently managed to manipulate the guards into not bothering to check him _or_ Mikey for Watcher marks 😉 But even before he became Master of Disguise, his mask of harmless & "happless jovial fellow" has been slipping here & there, at least as far back as how _utterly_ unaffected he was telling Brick to kill the thugs who messed with Lilith & himself making it look like they'd been killed for their coin-purses... he's still my favorite & I _do_ still think he's one of the good guys, but underneath all that affable charisma I think our boyo has _probably_ got some dark secrets about things he had to do to survive in his younger days 😅 (Mind you, considering his attitude _against_ people thinking they can "own" other people & his comment in the previous ep about wanting to _prevent_ pick-pocket Mikey from "going down a bad path", I'd guess that _if_ I'm on the right track it's more likely a "past he's _not_ proud of" rather than a "present active membership"... perhaps recruitment into the Watch had been young teen Delvin's way to get/stay out of the caves & Edgar had offered him a way _out of the Watch_ into a less ruthless life path?)
Just catching up all the episodes, but I’m really hoping they take a 4th option. Which is to rescue madela, cats dad, and delvins mom in one giant elaborate heist. That would be awesome but let’s see what happens in the next episode. Cheers to all of you guys for some great rpging.
At first I was like "edgar, who dat?" Then i was like *gasp* "no not edgar! Why??" Ainsley seemed sus from the start. Everything was pushing for that "week" portion of it all.

Loved the episode. I'm confused though. I'm probably misunderstanding something, but isn't Brick effectively a free agent at the end of the episode? The dealer gets ownership of him in return for the "trade of her beloved neice", which hasn't happened yet. The only other threat made against him would effectively stop the transfer of ownership happening at all... Mind you, I suppose "trade" doesn't technically mean "alive", which would be a suitably evil cryptic contract clause. Anyway, nice plot twist. Looking forward to the next one.
