I was blessed to have been very close with Reb Shlomo--bless-his beautiful poetic irrepressible holy soul!-- for many years. [ lived around the corner, and accompanied him musically at countless Weddings, Torah-teachings, Broadcasts and Concerts, including the Tribute-To-Shlomo-Carlebach Concert at Carnegie Hall, hosted by Rodney Dangerfield. During this time I was inspired to compose English lyrics to many of Reb Shlomo's beloved niggunim, including “Return Again/Return To The Home Of Your Soul” of which there have been countless unauthorized bootleg plagiarized adulterated recordings since 1975.
