I started going to Huntsman because Campbell Carey, the head cutter at Huntsman, used to be my cutter at Kilgour (now closed). However, I realized soon that the quality of the tailoring was not as good. I used to visit him on his trip to New York, where Huntsman has a permanent presence, but was surprised that adjustments in the garments that were supposed to be made from the last fitting were not done. My pattern was so messed up that they had to do two of my jackets again and still really messed up. I have come to the conclusion that since they started sending their garments for cheaper tailoring in India or China that the quality went down. They are mostly about bulk tailoring now. The alternative is to consider Anderson and Sheppard. They have done the majority of my suits and jackets and do a top notch job. Mr. Danny Hall is the head cutter and is great at his craft. The 3 things to consider in a bespoke garment is Comfort, Cut and Fit and Anderson and Sheppard are the best at all three. Henry Poole is another great option. My cutter, Mr Daniel McDonald, is very good with his work and has done amazing garments for me. The jacket is very comfortable and fits well. You won't go wrong with them.
*SEVERAL PEOPLE* have told me that since Huntsman has been taken over by Pierre Lagrange the quality has gone down dramatically and they have gone to Henry Pool, kent haste & lachter, etc Yeah - 80 hours - most bespoke suits take 100 to 120 or so hours so they have cut or automated a lot of the work

The Huntsman house style is the best looking cut for a suit in the world, IMHO.
Agree.
I love this ❤

What are you tailoring charges for a 2 pc suit ?
Their website says bespoke starts from £4200 for a 2 piece suit.
@@Jaydee-ug7zp Does this include the cloth ? And does it include a shirt ?
@@siddharthanarayan2739 Yes and no
4200 quid!!!!bloody hell!.
Huntsman are very poor today. Terry Haste, Poole or Anderson and Shepherd are so much better.
