I like your rendition of this, guys. That was a particularly smooth handoff there. I think it’s the first version of this that was bottom heavy, and it works super well.
That’s a really good idea, to have the soloist closer to the back so that everybody who is performing can hear him. Otherwise, the sound goes forward and the rest of the choir can’t hear.
wow. i am shocked i haven't listened to this one before... how did you decide to perform this song? such a stark contrast to some of our repertoire, yet, you guys killed it.. seriously, maybe i am just partial cuz i feel so much nostalgia but honestly, this shit sounded dope! at 2:36, when the 'soloist' transition occurs, vocally, you cannot even tell that the soloist changed... that is incredible... damn, i don't even know like 80% of the dudes names in the group now, but i still feel so proud to hear ya do so well dudes
Good day! I so much love this performance. Any chance I could get the soft copy of the solfa notations. I'd like to attempt a replica of the performance. Thank you!
You probably already have it by now, but if not, you can download that sheet music free of charge from BYU. One of their alumni was the one who compiled and arranged it. If you go to BYU vocal point, and the video for this, The link is in the description.

The melody becomes little flat when it reaches higher notation
