Good hair is healthy hair period. I also don't care for the 2a,3b, 4c hair texture categories either. Our African ancestors were proud of their natural crowns 👑. We need to get back to embracing our natural hair in all its beauty and uniqueness.

I had a perm growing up amd when i went natural and did my 1st big chop my parents had a lot of negative comment like i didnt know we had a son i thought we a daughter. Smh i didnt let those comments affect me and i loved my fro and now i love my locs. Funny my mom wants locs now

I met a natural man who i started dating and has lovely thick hair. He does braids and his hair is pretty long and he wants me to loc up his hair. My locs have made him want them so i plan on 2 stand twisting his hair and starting him off. I dont like hearing stories like this. Hopefully she can begin to accept herself cause thats where it all starts.
