I mispronounced Berroco and I think Agate! I spent three mins laughing at myself for my silly mistakes after I posted! 😂😂😂 Laugh a little friends, it’s good for ya! 😊 (yarnie hugs to all!)
Your the Best Juan 😊💜! I thought You pronounced both Word's correctly so now I'm laughing with You Friend 🤣😂🤣! Talk about laughing 🤣😂🤣...I love using Emoji's to make Others smile & I finally caught one of Dee's Live's & I commented "Thumbs up 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍" & I guess one of Her Moderator's gave me a "1st Warning" ⚠️ . Talk about being embarrassed 😳😡, lol 🤣😂🤣! I felt terrible because I had no idea that there was a Rule about Emoji's 😳😳😳🙈🙈🙈! Please tell me the Rules Juan so that I don't ever embarrass myself again 🤣😂🤣! I'll be 67 on March 7th & I am UA-cam dumb!!! Maybe You could give us a little UA-cam Class 😊.
Hi Juan. I put my patterns in a plastic sheet protector and then a binder. Then when making it I can cross off rows with a grease pencil. Use a damp cloth to erase it! Works like a charm!
I love watching you do the mystery bags. Your reactions and giggle get me every time. I do the same thing with my recipes by keeping a binder. 😂Thanks for sharing all the things 😊
Your giggle is awesome. FYI knitting bags will always be smaller as you use less yarn. And in my opinion linen is not soft at all. It is my least favorite fiber. Blessings😊
This is actually pronounced a-get, with the accent on the a. It's a kind of rock found usually on beaches of the Pacific and made into semi-precious jewelry.
The sock yarn should have enough yards in each skein to make 1 pair of socks. Most sock yarn has around 400 to 430 yards per skein plenty to make a regular pair of socks with cables even lol. Kevin told me he wants me to make him some more socks lol guess I need to get busy lol.
I have a few from Aberdeen on order too. I am not so much a fan of mystery bags but I like these. The reason I will buy these is because you get patterns that are appropriate for the yarns. The yarns are more toward the high end too. The red bags I got at Christmas time. Maybe it was a leftover! Lol. It has taken me decades to get interested in socks. My mom would not show me how. She said that they took too much time to make only to wear holes in them. I figured out why. I imagine when she knitted that her yarn choices were 100% wool only. Now there are blends with nylon. I did the Christmas stocking advent project with Arne and Carlos. I have been hooked ever since then. There are crocheted versions of socks out in internet land. The double pointed needles were a sticking point. Now I know how to do magic loop and there are smaller circular needles to choose from so my ability has changed. You are right. If you hold back from trying something difficult, you will never advance. I felt so good when I made that stocking. I never thought I could but I persisted and did! So jumping for joy to know you are on your way to becoming Juan the knitting addict! I do crochet but oh how I love the look of knit! I am sending you vibes! The granny square yarn is on sale at Joann's and I will be picking up mine tomorrow. Wish me luck! I hope it goes smoothly for me. People who have mastered it love it. We shall see!
Hiya. I’m a knitter and just as you said with the “advanced” pattern, I will tell you: if you can do the knit stitch and the purl stitch then you can definitely make hat. Go for it 🤗 I myself have not made socks yet, but plan to this year. There is an awesome UA-cam channel called Nerdy Knitter and she has full sock tutorials in EVERY method you could possibly think of. Thanks for sharing!
Hi juan, practice makes perfect! You got some beautiful yarn/ colourways!.. keep practicing on the knitting, hou will get there!. I have thought of a name for you llama. Juanallama!. Hope this helps!. Mandy uk 🇬🇧 xxx😊
😂 If I remember when you opened last year it was hairy yarn. Not to be used. Lol now you can touch it without getting creeper into and talking about what can be done with it. So proud of you. Lol
Hi Juan. I love the peach yarn. I've been keeping patterns in plastic and binders for 10 yrs. It does keep things in order. I do have books which I love as well. Always good to see what creation you come up with.
OMG! I ordered the mystery bags at Christmas as well (my daughter and I did an unboxing under the Christmas tree) and I got that fluffy purple Saturn yarn. And I did exactly what you said in this video! I paired it with a dk Caron cake type yarn in purple/grey and made a hairy infinity scarf! So much fun!
Hi Juan, I wanted to say last video how I LOVE your new yarn cubbys. Looks fantastic and a little more sturdy eh.....LOL one of your Canadian yarn buddys.
I absolutely love your yarn wall Juan 🥰. It’s great to hear you are extending your fibre arts to knitting. There is nothing better than socks made for your feet 🥰.
Hi Juan! What fun yarn! I really hate correcting somebody's pronunciation, but the rock hound in me just can't let it pass. Agate is pronounced a-get. 😊 Have a great night!
Juan, I have been intently watching your video and enjoying all the yarn and gifts all the while in the corner of my eye I can see your No Drama Llama just sitting there at attention staring at you as if she is listening and watching just like me. I had to chuckle because it’s just so cute! You positioned her perfectly. She too enjoys all the things! 😂LoL
Omg! My Mom brought me over a Ditty Bag to use on my first trip to NZ. I took it on the plane and it held everything! Even a change of clothes for my husband & I! It had more of a tapestry look with leather or pleather handles! Haven’t heard that word in years!❤
I love having you as a crochet buddy, I’ve been crocheting in solitude for too long. You’re so interesting I always learn something from your chatter lol
Hi Juan! Big sock knitter here. Each of those skeins of sock yarn is enough to knit a pair of socks for all but the really large foot size ( size 11 men's shoe or larger). My hubby's feet are size 9.5, and I have quite a bit left over when I knit his socks. I wear women's size 8, and have almost enough for a pair of golf socks after I knit a regular pair for myself. I have no experience crocheting socks, but I know there are patterns out there. Even with limited knitting experience, you can knit socks if you follow the pattern faithfully and trust the process. I will be happy to help you out - hold your hand over the net, so to speak - in any way I can. Love the mystery bag hauls. You really got your money's worth.
Juan, I have been crocheting since my Nonna taught me when I was 5. I want to thank you for including the letter size of hooks as well as the MM. I only learned the letters and I still choke on the MM. Thank you- you are a good teacher Victoria
Hi Juan! I love the mystery bags. You always brighten my day and let me tell you, today was a booger. 😓 Thank you for always being such a positive force and for your infectious laugh. Loved seeing and hearing about all the things. 🥰🧶☕️
Your new shelves are just amazing!!!!!! Those novelty yarns would be perfect for Dee’s hippy dippy yarn project!!!!! Back to the video 😂 7:2137:12 it looks perfect under the candle just like I had intended!! Perfect 💜
I for one appreciate your organizational skills Juan! Gotta love a good mystery bag. I plan on ordering some pickle jar mini refills from Aberdeen's as soon as my Feb yarn buying ban is over! I hope I don't go overboard. Ha! 😂
Hey Juan! I think they’re trying to give patterns that go with the yarn in each pack. So each mystery box has little kits in a way. I could be wrong lol. I bought knit and crochet boxes the first go around and they’re a good deal, like you said. ❤❤❤
Your coaster is like a doily in yarn. I have done a bunch of doilies and often think they would look great in yarn. She KNOWS you. Great under the candle.☺
Love the yarn aberdeans❤ from your dec. Haul. The fluffy mixed with the light lavender and the new haul with the mint like the light lavender knitted or crocheted together. I like Michi coaster to you. What a wonderful knitting, crocheting, tunsian community. Also dye yarns i have enjoyed.
YEAHHH BOI! I'M #1 TO LOVE THIS VIDEO! LOL yeah I'm a dork 😜Hope you have been having a good week thus far.. I love Aberdeens wool, Ive purchased from them like 4x since that 1st sale you told us about! SO THANK YOU! have a great rest of your day/week love. BESOS! 💕💕💕💕💕💕
I really like knitted dish cloths. Keep on practicing with them. Be proud of your accomplishments with them. Like the yarn. I think you got your money's worth. I pit patterns in a binder too. I mostly use the plastic sleeves.
I have used the James Brett Flutterby chunky, it's super soft and I made bedsocks and fingerless gloves with it. But you have to tie a knot at the end of the yarn, if you cut the yarn you have to tie a knot at both cut ends. There is just a thin string of cotton keeping all that fluffyness in place, without the knot all that fluffy will slide off the end lol.
I mispronounced Berroco and I think Agate! I spent three mins laughing at myself for my silly mistakes after I posted! 😂😂😂 Laugh a little friends, it’s good for ya! 😊 (yarnie hugs to all!)

@@redcanary2928 I love this!
All in good fun , I did enjoy your spin on it
I'm still waiting on my Mstery bags from them. I hope I get some of the Viva yarn , it's beautiful ❤.
Make me some 🧦🧦🧦🧦🧦😂
14:16 Having patterns and recipies in binders is always my favourite.
I love watching you do the mystery bags. Your reactions and giggle get me every time. I do the same thing with my recipes by keeping a binder. 😂Thanks for sharing all the things 😊
Thank you for this comment!! I’m like a kid in a candy store with yarn! 🧶 you are most welcome my friend!! Thank you for watching!
They’re also found in & around Lake Superior, MI…and gorgeous too!
The sock yarn should have enough yards in each skein to make 1 pair of socks. Most sock yarn has around 400 to 430 yards per skein plenty to make a regular pair of socks with cables even lol. Kevin told me he wants me to make him some more socks lol guess I need to get busy lol.
I’m sure Kevin is asking because you’re talented with those awesome needles my friend!!
Ontario, Canada here in the house ! --- Aberdeen's Wool Co. is my local yarn shop.
Hi Juan! Your giggle makes my husband giggle ❤. Your yarn wall looks sooooo good!
Hi Juan, I just love your laugh! It’s so infectious! Every time I watch your videos I find myself laughing with you! Keep being awesome 👏
I made an emotional support chicken with that Siam, it was perfect for it.
LOVE that for a brief moment Juan thought he was Charlie and may have won the Golden ticket 😂.. Great mystery bags!! Thanks for sharing the beauty!!
Hi Juan
Great info. Thanks Juan.

Oh sorry the channel is called Nerdy Kitting.
And just because it’s called “sock” yarn it can be used for anything. 😊
Juan, we enjoyed your Mystery Bags! You will love Premier Toy Box Yarn! Have fun creating with all that yarn!
Nice color yarn.😊
I have never ordered a mystery bag. This is on my 'must-do' list! 😂
I have a real life totally drama Llama named Chase. 😅 He is so full of himself!
Love the colors in that cotton yarn! And oooh purple!!!!
Hi Juan, you got some nice yarn in your mystery bags 😊

32:01 Knitting socks is quite easy. If you don't like knitting the heels, you just knit a tube, and do the ending for the toes.
love all your yarn - and Michi's coaster - love watching you both thanks
Hi Juan. I love the peach yarn. I've been keeping patterns in plastic and binders for 10 yrs. It does keep things in order. I do have books which I love as well. Always good to see what creation you come up with.
Nice mystery bags. You may have enough sock yarn to make several knee highs😂.
The yarn wall looks great!!
OMG!! As you unwrapped the purple coaster, I was saying that you should put your candle on it!!!🤣
Hey hey friend 😊
Juan, Maybe You could Design us a Crochet "Ditty Bag" 😊💜. I loved the look of the "Agate Beach Bag" 💙💙💙!

Hi Juan! What fun yarn! I really hate correcting somebody's pronunciation, but the rock hound in me just can't let it pass. Agate is pronounced a-get. 😊 Have a great night!

Hey Juan! I think they’re trying to give patterns that go with the yarn in each pack. So each mystery box has little kits in a way. I could be wrong lol. I bought knit and crochet boxes the first go around and they’re a good deal, like you said. ❤❤❤
Wow!!! Your wall is gorgeous!!!!💜
Hi Juan 😊
I use plastic pages and have one binder for crochet and one for knitting

When I save patterns I put them in page paters
