Lakers sux b/c Lebron plays no defense and therefore his teammates have to do extra work to cover his @$$, and that in turns makes coach's job difficult. If coach puts extra defenders on the floor then offense sux b/c Lebron need shooting rather than defending teammates to create space for him. But if coach puts a lot shooters on the floor then no one covers the defensive holes Lebron leaves behind.

I think Bron is obviously one of the greatest ever. However, objectively speaking how does it always wind up looking like he doesn’t have enough around him. I get the first stint in Cleveland but towards the end in Miami the 2nd Cavs run and now with the Lakers it always ends like this it’s gotta be something with him. No matter whether it’s bad management or his play style but he’s the common denominator. The offense always looks like him dribbling and others standing still waiting for a pass. If it’s management he chooses the teams he plays on since 2010 maybe he hasn’t chosen wisely.
I mean he went to the finals a million yrs in a row. It works in the playoffs when he takes over and gives a shit.
I tend to agree that the "he needs more help" arguments are blown out of proportion but this year i think it's true. To have so many guys routinely score 0 or 2 points in 20 or 25 mins is wild and it happens with 2 or more guys a night
@@chuck3586 that’s his greatness and it’s undeniable but he’s had a number of coaches Mike Brown, Spo, Blatt, Ty Lue, Luke Walton, Vogel, now Ham. A plethora of different teammates but yet somehow it always looks like this. Idk what it is but it has to have something to do with him. I tend to think it’s his play style guys that score 25+ but also lead their team in assists always wins up looking like teammates are trash Bron Luka Russ etc. I think Bron needs to commit to either being a point guard and really run the offense or be a scorer and let someone else run the show.

Basically requires playing differently during regular season vs playoffs. LeBron, against popular belief, doesn't dictate his role all that much until he has to. Hence why he becomes point guard in playoffs. For now he is doing what his retarded coach and suboptimal lineups dictate.

Starting 5 should always be DLo, AR15, Rui, LeBron and AD. Only reason that should change is for injury and that's where Prince, Vando, Cam, Wood and Hayes come in. Why in the hell did LeBron spend off season, training with Rui and building chemistry to not play them together or give Rui significant playing time? Ham is thinking too hard and it's hurting the locker room, plus his timeouts are disgraceful. Letting teams go on big runs causing his team to get too deflated. This is something I've noticed over LeBron's tenure as a Laker. Lebron is the one who tells his GMs to get certain players. He wanted Westbrook, he wanted Vogel fired, he wanted Anthony Davis, he wanted Carmelo, and he wanted D'Angelo Russell. He picks and chooses his own teams and then when they fall short, he gets none of the blame. Imagine if someone like Giannis did that. Giannis tells the Bucks GM to go out and get certain players so he can have his "perfect" roster. The media would tear him apart if that team fell off and weren't good. But when Lebron does it, it is because he doesn't have enough help. How is another top ten player in the league, a rising star, and one of the deepest lineups in the entire NBA not enough help. He has Davis, Reeves, Rui, Vanderbilt, D'Lo, Christan Wood, Taurean Prince, Cam Reddish, Max Christie, and Jaxson Hayes. That depth is only beaten by the Warrior's depth and the Pacer's depth. This team whose only difference is not having Shroeder from last year. This team made the conference finals last year. What do you mean not enough help!!!! He has all the help in the world! Does Lebron really need two other all-stars on his team to actually win a real championship. How does none of this get blamed on him? Yes, he is 39, but people have hyped him up to still be at his best basketball form and version of himself, so why isn't he being blamed for their 2-8 record over the past ten games. It's not Darvin Ham's fault and it isn't his lack of help. Lebron just isn't that guy anymore. And that's ok. He's 39 years old. He's allowed to start dropping in production. Darvin Ham should be fired for not only having Prince, Jaxon, Vando, Reddish (who can’t score btw) but for STARTING Hood-Schifino (IDK who he is) but Shanghai 🦈 is calling for these dudes.
The problem is a few things, this is a team with two superstars and role players to fill out with Reeves being a decent 6th man(top heavy AF sounds familiar). Darvin natural instinct for game flow and his constant rotation changes which lends to personnel is a carousel. Lakers need a legit scoring/playmaking guard that doesnt rely on Bron to EAT. Last problem is Pelinka is still living HIGH off Toilet Water from last years trades which he took the easy and safe route by reupping with all these ROLE PLAYERS with contracts that may not be tradable. Rob went all in on "What could have been" if we had a full go with the same core. So yea 4 major problems that a coach firing mid season wont help. The core bench stayed intact for 4 to 5 years… nuggets have had the same starting 5 since the nurkic trade….suns was ass 4 years ago and they just dismantled their team this year. The Lakers go through this every year. People are realizing now that the Lakers are not one of the best teams in the NBA. It's at the point where people are talking about who needs to get fired or traded.
Every season is the same thing. In the summer they overhaul the entire roster. Then at end of Dec all through Jan it's "Lebron needs more help" cause trade deadline is 1st week in February. Then every player on the trading block is reported to be going to the Lakers. This has been going on for 5 seasons now like clockwork.
