Lord, protect your people. Send your angel armies to fight for them.
Our parish in Alberta, Canada (Edmonton Archdiocese) regularly collects money to send to Nicaragua, we send adults, youth and clergy several times per year to do mission projects (construction) and we raise money and donate for this. We have bottle recycling collections too where we get refunds back and the bottle depot will transfer the money to our parish for the Nicaragua mission.
I recommend we write to our representatives at all levels of government & candidates, to cease financial support or commerce in any way with Nicaragua, in objection to the persecution of religious and their followers. Our country give significant financial support. Pray the rosary for the faithful.
I will most certainly pray for the Sisters in Nicaragua. May God bless them, and Mary keep them under Her Mantle! 🙏🙏🙏😭💔

Yes, *many* so-called American "non-profits" (ha!) are wicked, having been established for horrific purposes, by demon-ridden people. Mist are political, but many hide under "social justice" causes.
Our Associate Pastor is from Nicaragua. His cousin is also a priest and was arrested in December in their home country. His cousin was exiled to Rome. The threats are real and quite dangerous. Our Associate Pastor tried to return to visit family in Nicaragua earlier this year and was not allowed to board the plane in Miami because he is a priest. Prayers and fasting for all who are persecuted!

The false church hates holiness! Those in it hate holy nuns and holy priests who speak the truth of Christ. I know of one convent that was sent a modernist 'visitor' and the report was that their habits were too constrictive, and they prayed too much and things like that.

Sadly no surprises here about Nicaragua. Sandinista and Communist Daniel Ortega is again in charge and at last is showing his true colors. Ortega was the darling of NPR in 1978-79 and was touted almost hourly back then.
Too bad Francis won't visit and help those poor nuns. After all, he speaks the same language! He should expose the president down there as the monster that he is.

BerGOGlio is as much an oppressive DICTATOR as is Ortega! He just has to be more careful.
But lots of Priests who have been forcibly deported by the Government have been given Visas to come to Vatican City. At least 12 have been deported and Vatican City took them there are another 50 deported to other countries and luckily the Vatican has worked with the Bishops there to give them refuge. Regarding Italy, one hopes that Pope Francis who gets along well with President Meloni of Italy those priest can have visas to also work in Italy.

The Pope could visit and change things. Nicaragua has been shut down to Catholics for quite a while. A local woman who went there for years stopped going about 5 years ago. She stopped collecting for her mission because she is barred from going.
Francis will never visit Central America or his own country of Argentina. Comunist Iike Francis do not fight against each other! His country could put Francis in jail for his past

The commands of Jesus teach us not to feel sorry for someone being persecuted for righteousness sake but to leap for joy for great is your reward in heaven. Why do we reject the teachings of Jesus Christ? When suffering , fasting or praying, we must learn not to be as pagans who do everything to bring attention to their vain spirituality
