Ah a fellow Amos. This was an encouraging video from me, so thank you! I quit soccer in 2020, because I didn't make it to the professional level and had some people close to me saying that I was too old to try anymore, which hit me quite hard. Just started getting back at it at the age of 28 with a new focus of just self improvement and playing for the sake of exercise.
This is so relatable, I'm 24 and i played with U-13 and U-20 players, I was looking for something that will reignite my competitive self, and I tried football, and I practiced with a local club as a complete beginner and since they let people join in for free practice and its been fun ever since, and I figured out I loved defending, so now Im developing my self to be a well rounded center back. Great video btw I love it!
Im u-14 I found out I like football when I was at school then for gym we had soccer I enjoyed it and when on youtube watched players and here I am now 13 years old, trying to find a club
thankyou for sharing your experience..this is really boosting to hear. im 18, in my late teens and I started playing football a year ago and i just kept telling myself how late and old i was to start professional football. eventually it took a tole in me being either very harsh or either very loose on myself. hearing players who started "late" but still kept going is giving me courage none the less. thank you so much! please continue sharing your journey!
I'm not trying to be boastful, but if I had started soccer at 25, or even at 18, I think I could've been semi-pro or played at a lower tier 4 league. Because I started so late at 31 years old, I played 7th tier league. So keep your head up and know you are VERY young!!! You got this!!!!
Yes, another video of amos, hahaha. It would be great if you could get in touch and chat with Jonny Kim. I think it could help a lot of people and i personally feel very identified with both of them.
I really enjoyed this video, for me it was the other way around. Im still only 23 years old, but i had 0 ball knowledge. I started playing ina relative older team with teammates around the 30 who played quite a high level. I got received with open arms, no one really cares if you make a mistake as long as you are showing passion and do the best you can.
I love your videos. I would like you to make a video about the moments when you can't push anymore. Sometimes I go out for a run and when I go a certain distance I notice that my legs are very tired and do not respond to me. How do I push further? how do I overcome the 40/60% rule? Thank you.
@@famousamosSeattle Seahawks? Pretty cool, you should check out the mls team Seattle sounders, they have really good atmosphere when it comes the fans.

have u been kicked in the groin?
If you played at 10 you would most likely play at london for almost 20 years
Lol, when I was 10 I was an all-star american football and lacrosse player. One of my small regrets is not picking up soccer instead!!!
it's not too late to call it football
I just can't. As an american, I know football as the NFL which is where my beloved Seattle Seahawks play. I only know this sport as soccer lmao
