Oh so he’s not a self-centered narcissistic diva who thinks the world & team revolve around him? And you mean he doesn’t poison the team chemistry & wear out his welcome in a short period of time like a home wrecker but is a team wrecker?
Keon is legit. Yeah, he’s low key hilarious & he has charisma & a 1000 watt personality, but more importantly he loves football, is precocious, mature beyond his years & cares about bettering himself & his craft. The Bills got a good one who could be special. Even non-Bills fans are embracing him & pulling for him.
Keon Coleman ran a “slow” 4.61 at the combine which is why he fell to Round 2. There is no denying the game tape & production. All the fools who get hypnotized by the combine numbers were the same ones who let Puca Nacua & his 4.57 40 fall to Round 5. Pacia tore up the NFL last year. Puca like Keon is a football player with off the charts instincts, football IQ & receiving abilities. Wish Keon the best of luck & I expect he’ll need zero luck in becoming a top receiver. I don't know what percentage of the decision was based on his personality. All picks have some degree of that thing, but I just hope it didn't overshadow or throw off what they thought would help the team win.
That said, as a fan, I wasn't so sure about the pick and also enjoyed that breath of fresh air after Diggs' constant passive aggressive drama the past few years as soon as I heard his interviews and saw the footage around the facility. That said number two... I'm not running a football franchise at the world's highest level...

I like him but I still think legette will be the better player. Worthy will be a 40 catch 8 td player every year. Coleman will be 60 catches and 5 t.ds. legette with allen was 90 catches 16 t.ds

I also think Legette is better, but 5 touchdowns seems a little too low for Keon. His elite skills are going to be utilized best in the red zone. You could EASILY see double digit touchdowns from Keon this season. Now target share, yards, and catches could all be disappointing for those with really high expectations
Bills aren't going anywhere. I might argue by the end of season they will be a better closer team after moving on from Diggs drama. It's refreshing to see someone's humility and excitement

Yeah man Coleman’s personality is gonna replace 6 straight 1000 yard seasons and 50 touchdowns 😂 that’s the dumbest thing I’ve read in a REALLY long time
5* and all 5 of his best seasons came with Allen. Diggs didn't make Allen, Allen made Diggs.
Antidote? He’s the opposite of Diggs. Can’t separate so relies on his physicality, no release package or fluidity in his route running, runs a limited route tree, and good at 50/50 contested catches. He’s a raw prospect, probably won’t be productive initially lining up outside as the X receiver.
Honestly don’t know why Beane drafted him, this seems like a recipe for a high interception season from Allen if they line him up outside.
Teams are going to shift their CB1 and defensive resources from Diggs to bracketing Kincaid or Shakir now and none of them can spread the defense vertically.
Samuels is fast and can stretch the field. Shakir is fast.
Coleman had the fastest gauntlet time at the Combine. Look it up.
He’s plenty fast on a football field vs a track meet.
Diggs wasn’t getting the gravity the last part of the season as he used to from defenses, and the Bills started winning every week.

@@albertturner1039 They’re mostly in the slot for the quick game, i.e., getting separation quickly from underneath route combinations isn’t the same as an X receiver flexed out wide with breakaway speed threatening verticality over the top that can stretch the field for the other WRs to operate.
Yeah I’ve seen his gauntlet, it just shows he can run a straight line and maintain concentration at the catch point. We already knew that, his strength was contested catches, that means fuck all in determining if his route running is refined enough to line up outside. Deal with getting jammed at the snap or press from a CB just as athletic and physical.
I mean you’d be wrong. After the OC change to Brady and his recommitment to establishing the run game. He was limiting the route trees Diggs could run away from areas of the field more prone to an Allen turnover or resultant in a poorer passer rating overall.
Defensive coordinators were still actively scheming against Diggs, mostly with inside leverage and safety help over the top to bracket him. Diggs running those routes even as a decoy still opens up the other receivers, they literally game plan around limiting him, he’s going to command attention.
Laughing out loud if anyone thinks Samuel or Coleman is going to bring the Bills to the promise land, then you are smoking some great Ganja.. I like Colman, yet personally doesn’t win football games. Let’s be serious and honest. The Bills WR room is now the weakest in the NFL.. Sad sad and sad.. they let Xavier worthy go to the Chiefs- bone head move
