I'm very surprised by how much effort was put into this. The characterisation, the build up, the conflict all done well. I also like how you made Quinu have a change of heart in the end.

Lightfury: forgets she even saw him before as if he suddenly didn't exist in the first place even though he's the last living nightfury and she just saw him less than five minutes before then

@@ethansmith564 ignoring the bad doesn't make it go away. The same way ignoring racism doesn't stop it and ignoring a dog doesn't train it.
Pointing out the bad gives them an opportunity to do better in the future. Everyone else is saying good things and that's fine. I criticize because they need it. The animation is amazing, but the story is heavily lacking and doesn't make sense.

I have a question: Why can't dart protect herself, i mean in the movie she is smartest than the two others and very courius but here she is scared and needs to be protect by others dragons. Your animation and story are super good, I love it and im so impatient for season two but could you please change dart's personality? Then the serie will be perfect, I wish you will do it.

I almost cried seeing Quinn was actually a villain and knew how much Dart loves him
I felt bad for Quinu. He became friends with Dart, but ultimately was forced to fight for the Changers. He clearly shows regret for what he did and really wants to things right.

I just wanna say how clever it was to imagine the dragons using deathsong amber for handcuffs-though I feel it could be easy to brake out of as shown in RTTE, Hiccup used his dragon blade (made of fire, more specifically lit by monstrous nightmare gel) to brake open the cocoon around Tuffnut’s chicken, though it’s a clever idea!
Awesome work all around though, I am a huge httyd fan and I have a fan story myself I’m working on and I’d once like to release it to the public, and you’ve been a big inspiration for me!

I just had a question though. If she laid eggs, wouldn't toothless have been present? I mean it just seems logical that he would be there to support her ya know.
Toothless shouldn't be present for he may scare her and plus most female animals tend to find a secret spot to have their babies

and unless Luna told him, he will kill Dart, Pouncer and Ruffrunner as eggs which is why at 7:43 she says that she has a surprise for him and shows him under her wing
@Jack O Lantern 01 well while that may be true, it doesn't seem logical for him to kill eggs just like that. Sure it could be another night fury's offspring and not his but either way the same outcome would have occurred with her saying they are his etc. etc. because he did have an opportunity to kill them at 7:43 but he didn't due to luna informing him it was a "surprise". He "assumes" they are his because she says its a "surprise" but overall can anyone truly say what is given to them in the form of flesh is truly theirs? For all we know, luna may have mated before with another night fury and she had his eggs at a coincidence time and she says they are his when they are not. It may also be a possibility that they are another night fury's but even she didn't know due to the timing however, the whole series is named Toothless x light fury so I will assume this idea is out of play although it backs up the fact that toothless wouldn't have killed the eggs being present or not. The guy doesn't seem like the type to kill offspring just like that. He is a reasonable young night fury at the given time period and he would likely, ultimately raise the eggs whether or not they are his offspring or not.
@Little dude I'm just saying this based on real life animal knowledge based on the fact that bears males that see any female with young will kill the babies whether the young are theirs or not.
