Video game soundtracks are a big part of the game because when you wanna talk to your friends about a game the developer wants you to talk about how immersive and cool it was and not how there wasn't any sound. but something about Mindustry's soundtracks just feels so fitting to the situation rather than being just some good music. For example this soundtrack is boss music, a good game designer would want the music to bring a little dread feeling when you hear it in game, but this isn't a little dread this is like uh oh spaggetio imma die.
If you think the right way, this music has an entire other meaning when seen from other perspective, like: You reached the last sector, the CRUX has nowhere to escape, he is sending everything it has against you, but you already have the entirety of the planet conquered, and much more power than crux, he only sends toxopids, because all other t5 units where destroyed triyng to destroy your core...

Me watching a corvus break through my thorium walls as my conveyors break and my turrets run out of ammo:
You should have used plastanium walls. They block sniper mech's lasers

Yea, the music of mindustry just works and fits so well with the scene. It's a fantastic OST
