TZ is the best country in east Africa. They are peaceful.. humbled and friendly. Trust me, No body would shout at you as a stranger, They will help guide you when you need your way around. I am from Kenya and I know Tanzanians in general are respectful and peaceful just like their kin from Kenya coast or pwani. The 'naomba' culture of Tanzanians contrasts with 'lete' culture in Kenya. Many said they don't like Somalia-but its because of decades of conflicts that has going on in the country. Many Somalis were forced to flee to other countries for safety and wellbeing. The responses validated that.

I am from Kenya and I know Tanzanians in general are respectful and peaceful just like their kin from Kenya coast or pwani. The 'naomba' culture of Tanzanians contrasts with 'lete' culture in Kenya. Many said they don't like Somalia-but its because of decades of conflicts that has going on in the country. Many Somalis were forced to flee to other countries for safety and wellbeing. The responses validated that.
Its very true. How we Tanzanians and Kenyans tend to defer on how we get to ask for something. "Naomba" will seem more respectful and humbel rather than "Lete" which most would see as a command. Yet all these Swahili words that are still growing within the Kamusi(dictionary). Sending love from Tanzania.
