Nat - you make it look so easy! I honestly cant decide which of those projects I like the best, because I can picture all three of them in my house! Thanks for the recommendation!
I absolutely love everything you made in this video! And that blue chalk paint is absolutely gorgeous! I can’t wait to see you living room makeover-after watching your bedroom makeover, it is sure to be fabulous! I would love to see a video on the tools you would suggest for beginners. I would like to buy a miter saw, a nail gun, and anything else you might suggest. You give me confidence that I can build things, as well!
I'm so scared to use power tools! I wish I wasn't a big chicken , lol but one day I'll use one. The only power tool I use is a drill!😂🤣my sister uses power tools & tells not to be scared of them. I love your 3 projects they are all so beautiful!❤️
When I was growing up, my grandfather had a shop in his basement. He taught me how to use all of his tools, including a circular saw, drill, etc. When I purchased my first home after my divorce, my BF bought me a pink drill. I love it!
That was a great hack & deserved sharing! I’m so happy you did & I’m sure my hubby will be too when I’m not going through candles like crazy 😉! Have a wonderful & Blessed weekend!
Seriously, everything you made in this video looked like something you would buy from a furniture store but you handmade. I'm amazed. The stool was my absolute favorite. I want one.
I own many of my own power tools and love using them. My husband bought me a large table saw for my birthday last year. Once you take the tool plunge, your creativity is endless!
At 73 I put away all power tools. I think this might have been a good idea. I do love watching you make some amazing things. I am glad you went in with the wood glue. Added protection never hurt. Blessings
Thank you for showing us that you removed the screws and used longer ones. As well as gluing. I appreciate your authenticity. I’m a long time viewer, first time commenter. Your projects, DIY’s and decorating is so relatable. All my best!
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment Veronica. It means a lot to me. I Always try to keep in my imperfections that way we all can learn from my mistakes.💕
Natalee, I have learned so much from you, I have mastered the cricut, I have learned to use power tools, I have made so many things. I am almost 70 yrs old and keep so busy now. I luv the stools you just made you know I will be making them. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I wish you would make a bench like the stools I would love to have a bench. You r so wonderful. Once again thank you Natalee. Mary
I actually find power tools very interesting. I use them all the time and every woman should get use to using them. I love ❤ the stool it turned out beautifully. The Box is fabulous 👌 wow, what a great beginner project, stain. Plant stand is adorable.
I used 3 power tools about 30 years ago, I had a gig saw, a drill and a chain saw, the last time I used the chain saw I sawed through about a 6 inch in diameter branch and a rookie mistake occurred, and the log fell on my foot…..because I was doing it in a space where people could possibly see me, so I stood around for a few minutes before I went into the house and cried out in pain!!!!!!! I would love to be able to do all of the things this pretty lady does, but because I’m pushing 80, I’ve been told I can’t even climb upon a ladder anymore! I think it’s funny that last night I was thinking how I could make myself a foot stool to help me get into bed, and here she is doing a version of what I was thinking of.
The little ottoman looks pretty much like 2 small end tables my husband had when we got married. Over the years, we have found many ways to use those tables. I love the way the ottoman turned out. The other two projects were also really nice. The design of the wood box you put greenery in would also make a wonderful tray if built with shallower sides. The little plant stand is great too- although I would probably have used the legs in the opposite configuration from the one you chose. I like the blue you painted both those projects with. Your DIY projects are always so nice looking and inspirational!
I am assembling shelves as I watch. Thank you for the inspiration to do even more building. I have loved playing with wood since I got my kindergarten teacher to insist the boys let me build with them. (They ran off to the cars and several girls left the toy kitchen to come build with me. We has real wood pieces to stack--short planks and blocks.)
The stool, box, and plant stand are gorgeous, NataLee. I love the use of the embroidery hoop on the plant stand! I can't wait to see your Livingroom refresh next week!! Thanks for sharing!♥
I love these. The stool is beautiful they are going to be so beautiful in your livingroom. I've been wanting some stools for my livingroom for extra seating which I need very bad when the kids come over. Thank you for your inspiration.
I'm delighted with the "BLUE" BOX ❗ So simple , soft and personal . I feel some special projects are lost in black. I know everyone does it but , This is So You ❗ And you are not just POWERFUL , YOU ARE A WOMAN OF RADIANT COLORS & it is Wonderful to watch It Shine in You ❗ Your Audio & Videos are Great . Thank you for sharing this with me . I feel redeemed 💞
Hey Natalie, I'm quite excited to see next week's episode and see the refresh of your living room. I can't believe how easy you made the ottoman - it really looks like something you could buy at a furniture store! I also loved the box - the idea of using spindles for handles was genius. Thanks for the inspiration and the ideas. i love watching you create!
Natalee, I love that you work with what space you have , even when it's not ideal. All of these projects are great, I especially loved the spindle box and planter. Saving this video to watch again later.
Oh my goodness u built these ottomans from scratch!! Wow !! You never cease to amaze me, NataLee!!!🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 These came out AMAZING!! So inspiring!!!! 💜🙌🏻💜
The ottomans are gorgeous! I personally love the paint color you chose for the box & plant stand vs. staining simply because you don’t have to worry about the different wood grains & colors it may pull out of them. Then again, blues are my favorite colors so I may just be biased, lol 😉! Thank you for sharing such great projects. Really looking forward to next week! Would you consider doing an episode on how to style your built-in shelves? I never feel like mine look the way I imagine in my mind 🤷🏼♀️. Sending everyone lots of 🤗,💜 & 🙏🏻 for a wonderful & Blessed weekend!
The box you made would be so cute used as a stool too, just add a couple small round( ball like) feet to it,where the spindles are,and then apholster the top, such a cute idea and so many different ideas. Thanks Natalee, when I get stumped I come to see you for inspiration...Works everytime too! Stay Blessed🙏
As always, your projects turned out amazing!! They definitely do not look homemade!! I love power tools too, but do not have your imagination!! Can't wait to see your living room refresh!!
Hi Natalee, love all these pieces you made and yes love the paint color. The box tray can be decorated for every season. Me personally don't use power tools, just not for me, but I truly admire people that use them. I have a cousin who makes things, finds furniture and paints and changes the look, etc. She is amazing like you. Looking forward to seeing your living room refresh.
Ahhhhhhh! 🥳🥳You did it again! Always blowing my mind! (Every time I finish watching your channel, it gets the creative juices flowing!) Beautifully done! 🙌🏼We are more powerFul💪🏻 then we know…. Can’t wait to tackle some projects today! 🥰
You did such a great job on that little stool!! And the addition of the nail heads was the perfect touch. And that box!! Wow. I love that you painted it instead of staining it.
I (in Ohio) am jealous you're outside in January in just a cute sweater😉You are so amazing, the stool and plant tray are gorgeous and so "Natalee Vogue"🥰👌🏾Thank you for helping me get over my fear of power tools and realizing I'm truly more powerful than I knew😉❤🙏🏾
The blue chalk paint is beautiful! I like the power tools. I used them a lot way back, but haven't in a while. Thanks again, NataLee for your encouragement and all your fun ideas!

Hi NataLee, I was wondering how/if I am able to find ALL of your older videos.... I have scrolled all the way through these UA-cam videos, but the older ones are sporatic, and some years aren't there at all. Although, I've found a lot of other channels based on your recommendations, but you're still (and wil always be) my favorite. Nothing you create ever looks cheap or homemade. I also don't consider it a DIY if someone just pulls out a can of spray paint. I don't think anyone needs a tutorial on how to paint something, especially more than once. I know that you put a lot of time and work into your videos, but I would love to see you more than once a week. Love everything that you do, KEEP UP THE MARVELOUS WORK.
You really are inspiring. We have all the tools, my husband has been a carpenter his whole life and I had never even thought of touching his tools. Now I might 😃 Love everything You make. I love that your DIY are all high quality, wood, screwed, nailed. Really don't understand a lot of other people's DIY videos, making junk, just hot glued? Thank you, thank you! Love you! Love the wonderful way you explain how to use the jig and eyeball measurements, but wisely! It takes all the scary out of learning new skills! In fact, it makes me feel more powerful than I know! Nobody but you has this gift on UA-cam. Thank you so much
OMGoodness Natalee I absolutely love the ottoman. I actually was looking for a bench for the end of my bed but I honestly think with your tutorial I can use your plans to make the bench instead. All of these projects look awesome! The paint color on the box is soft and pretty, but it would also look great in a stain or the antique wax. Love these.
Natalee, I really love all of your projects, I especially love the box with the spindle handles, so creative and so useful. After a lot of convincing, my husband got me a miter saw for Christmas, and with his help I have been able to cut out several things. I have been learning a lot, and know that I can do this. I would’ve never have asked for the saw it if I hadn’t been watching your channel, You have convinced me that I am more powerful than I thought. Thank you for your example, I am looking forward to making many wonderful projects.
I absolutely love all of your designs! I have always been good at making things and I’m a Power Tool Junkie. I want to commend you on teaching others who are intimidated to use them. Just like anything else in life the more you use them the more confidence you’ll gain. Thanks again for “Promoting the Power”!😁

That box would hold containers for paint brushes, too. Love the plant stand. Who knew a Kreg Jig was so easy.
I sure didn’t! It was awesome!
Only Natalee has the gift of showing us how to use tools!
Liked everything, as always. But I think the stool/ottoman was my favorite.
