This is a great easily used device. I do have a clay machine but have to break it down to get in car. I would really like one of these but most often I shoot alone. I emailed Do All about making a simple mount with lanyard trip so a lone shooter could easily transport and use it, especially if just a few shells being used. Might generate more sales as well.
interesting idea there.... the ones that mount to a spare tire are not too terribly heavy or cumbersome, but i hear ya, there should be something lighter and easier to set up and or operate for sure.
Trap is my Driving Range Skeet is my Putting Green Five Stand is my Executive/Par 3 Course Sporting Clays is my Golf Course. BTW - I shoot a Browning Special Sporting Clays O/U with 30" barrels for all things Clays..... If it involves clays and a Shotgun, I'll play!!!
you gotta rotate it anyway depending on how you wanna throw the clays. so even if things were in a different place, in the end, probably wouldn't make much difference.
well obviously angles can be an issue since friction and gravity are a thing 😂🤣 so, when we first started using the ones we have, we did notice that could happen, especially at the extremes. one thing to be mindful of is the orientation in whcih you hold and launch. differen orientations like that can work best for different angles, just something you gotta get used to. BUT, here is a little tip that may help. after we had all of ours for oh i don't know a few months (well after any of these videos were made) we took some of that abrasive style tape, the stuff like you see people put on doorsteps and put on ours. that does seem to help a lot. thanks for bringing this up, another video may be in order explaining how and why we did that.
yeah, no way to really go portable like this and get the kind of spring tension you would get from an actual machine, but hey, it can sure save your arms, shoulders, etc if you are throwing by hand.
I really like skeet, but trap and sporting clays are fun too. I hate 5 stand. Like to shoot games too. Bushwhacker or annie oakley. Thanks for the review. This thing is cool.
i have had this for a little less than a year, thrown hundreds of clays and it is still going strong. it seems to be made of pretty rugged plastic but it is plastic none the less, if you run over it with a truck or something, it would probably break.
So I received mine the mail couldn’t wait to try. What horrible time trigger would not work the rubber mat already half falling off. Will be returning very disappointed in this product
I, Ordwered it from Amazon and it was the newer black version. I wasn't given the choice of color. bu very disapointed. it's already being shipped back to Amazon.
@@edbigtruck yeah, that sucks, wondering if it had been handled badly by amazon before it was ever shipped or something... not going to say Do All Outdoors is perfect, no company is but if you buy things from a different place, may consider that before trashing anything too hard. if i buy a Sony tv at Wal Mart for example and get home, take it out of the box and it has physical issues... my first thought is Wal Mart screwed something up somewhere along the distribution chain, you know?
@@CloverTac , I get that I did read a review the other day on a different site the guy said it was as if the safety was stuck and couldn’t use the trigger. Mine the safety was sliding back and forth no problem the trigger was as if it was seized. The package was perfect. Just disappointing It happens. As I’m typing this I’m watching your review of the Do All Fly Away thrower. And your Swapping chokes video. I’m considering buying a battery operated machine. I have a mechanical machine. A new auto may be the best way to go especially now that I have my GF into trap shooting.
that is a good question and being in TX, i don't know that i can ever really answer that one for you. depending on how col it is, obviously plastics can have issues. i guess it would depend on you redefinition of cold.... most people are not going to be out shooting is sub freezing temperatures and for anything above freezing i would think this would be fine.
Thanks for the extra details. When you loaded 2 clays, were they side by side or stacked? If they were side by side I would have expected them to push apart from each other and spread a little more.

Sporting clays or Five stand
@@BMXrider915 i tend to agree, thanks for sharing

they are a lot of fun
@@CloverTac , I ordered mine tonight .

Not sure why they didn’t mount the handle perpendicular to throw clays flat without having to rotate the unit
you gotta rotate it anyway depending on how you wanna throw the clays. so even if things were in a different place, in the end, probably wouldn't make much difference.
When I try to put any angle on the clay cannon, the pigeon wants to just fall out the back.

A bit slow for Sporting. O.K. for trap or skeet...

These are absolute crap and dangerous broke first time we used it
this one is still a rocking.... lost count on how many i have thrown with it, hate to hear you had trouble
thanks for the demo. Won't have to waste my money now.
