Hi don't listen to those negative comments and keep up the good work. I know its difficult for you to get videos of such old times. But the clips you used for representational purposes were good enough. However do mention that some images/videos are for representational purposes only. That would stop all such criticism in the first place.
I agree that the video was amazing - however the representational images/videos weren't the problem. Almost every bike he was talking about used actual images of the bike along with images of other, more modern bikes which is quite misleading to the new viewer who might not be aware of the differences. Except for the very early days he had images for everything else ... just not used in the right order which is unfortunate considering the hard work gone into the writing and narration.
How could you make a video about Royal Enfield without the mighty 750cc Interceptor which was made in Britain until 1970. It had a dynamically balanced crankshaft which significantly reduced vibration. It also had a neutraI finder lever at the gearbox so you could go to neutral from any gear. I enjoyed the video.
Best bikes in the world for that "feel good factor". Simple designs fo works every time.r reliability and a great soundtrack. I bought a 350 Meteor 2 years ago and just love riding it. I have a more powerful 400 Honda and it stays in the shed, it's a characterless pain in the arse. If they put the 40hp 450 in the Meteor, I will swap, otherwise keep enjoying the 350. I am an old school engineer and KISS means "Keep it simple stupid" works for me.
If they ever would come out with a 1000-1300cc v twin budget tourer I would buy it if it had old school panache glad to hear they have been working on a v twin model
Royal Enfield was never a strike prone company. Their big failure, and this applies to a lot of UK manufacturing at the time, was complacency. Too little, too late and a lack of investment, latterly from the holding company. Royal Enfield had the ideas, but not the money to realise them.
that was Henry Ford on his Quad.Henry Ford was an American, not British,AI Clown. There was also a clip from the old Indian factory in Massachusetts.Thought no one would notice, huh?
Ig someone else already pointed out that the images used are for representational purposes. That's how most videos are made. As someone else said its not possible to find images and videos of such old times.
Instead of getting your feathers in a knot . Add positive input if you know better. Better still put together your own video. Wünderbar . Look forward not backward
Six out of ten for the commentary. Lots of errors with dates and models. There are lots of enthusiasts out here that will be a bit disappointed with this. However there was enough in it for it not to be a complete failure.
Royal enfield is nolonger what it was since Eicher motors took over, they were only good at one thing.... Marketing... today a 650 cc RE engine produces 45bhp? they do not want to provide a better ingine they just want to make money by giving you the poorest engine with maximum profit....today their chaincovers are made of plastic...their worst engine so far Was 2004 thunderbirds AVL 350 cc 1- poor quality cylender heada i replaced 4 2 lack of spareparts (no aauthorised service center can arrange the oil pump shaft and worm nuts) 3 all the rare tubs on which the rare mudguard rested were incorrectly made with poor weight distribution and weak tubes... I replaced them with round rebars 4 i have seen servicenter guys damaging the desert storm 350 gear box when lifting up the service rail and heared them jokingly saying..."Oh ..this was already damaged, i saw the engin oil dripping from tthe gear box. 5 their waiting time to get a new bike in india is extremly high, as if these idiots are hand crafting every bike for the rider. 6 too much hype and nothing to show... 350 cc - 20 bhp, 650 cc 45 bhp....what a load of underperforming garbage... I i had money i might have bought a second hand versays 650 or even an old Benalli 600 Gt and made tese bullet bhakts run for their money.... 6 the only advantage i found in this bike was - it made me learn more about motorcycles and i customized my bike as per my requirments.... Function over fashion... And i achieved greatness... Not because of royal enfield...its because i considered it all more like a bad tool for the right job... Hence i improvised adapted and survived the horror called as RE Thunderbird 2004, its nor functional any more but as long as i am alive i will never sell it.... Not because its my favourit motorcycle... Its because it took me to some beautiful places when i was young...today i am an old man and have very few prospects but still i go to my office on a fuel saving mechine "bajaj platina" it save my money ...thanks for reading and i am not a liar.
I've spotted a few 650 Interceptors in Dayton Ohio. The owners love them and if I wasn't on my way out, I'd buy the 650 Super Meteor

Thank you, will put up this for upcoming ones.

My ex-bro-in-law had a '68 750 Interceptor that would do burnouts all day long. Scarey fast!!!! I wanted one of the red Cafe Racers and still do.
I love the classic 350❤. Í want to get myself one.
Ive got a 2023 Royal Enfield INTERCEPTOR
Good 1960s technology.
Please note the factory was in REDDITCH not RADDITCH. Is this an AI issue with pronunciation ?

In the video time 14:05 correct pronunciation of "EICHER" is "ISHER", not "IKER".
Like most past brit buisnesses
too many strikes tea breaks and
mediocre production. Same for
BL, RR and others. R.

Kinda like many US brands.... No tea, just always on their cell phones... lol

Yawn.....
If you are going to do history, do accurate images. Pathetic
Sorry but be more historical with all those images, stay to RE and not showing images that has nothing to do with RE.
AI generated garbage! Wrong dates, wrong images and video clips!
pity some of your images were time - incorrect.
That's not true. Nearly ALL of the images were incorrect.
