The M1 and the DX7 are insanely powerful synths that can make amazing sounds like in this video (and more). In their peak years sadly mainstream music used mainly the common, dull preset sounds (think about the M1 piano and organ and other typical presets of the DX7 ). It was like using them at the 10% of their sound possibilities...
There's a reason these things were so popular when they first came out. Just amazing what you can do with an M1 with some creativity and know how. Sold mine years ago sadly. But I still love to see people using these in all kinds of inspiring ways. Well done on these incredible sounds.
This set of programs and combinations totally reinvigorated my enthusiasm for my M1. It's amazing how analog-synthy it can sound with a good patch designer.
I just bought this sound set on Wednesday and it's amazing!!!! So many great, usable sounds and I'm just stunned at what the M1 can produce in the hands of a good designer. Great job!!
Please can someone tell me if these sounds are actually just the sounds pre installed on the keyboard? I know absolutely nothing about this keyboard and not sure if something is added to the original sound I can't seem to get mine to sound this smooth.. Thank You
This sounds incredible! Will this work on the T-series? Also, will you consider a bank for the 01/W? I wish blank of the old PCM cards were still available to add something like this as an expansion.
LFO makes me save a lot of money :-)) I do'nt need to purchase new synths any more ! Bringing out these patchbanks for my older gear makes me dusting them off and rediscover. Will purchase the bank in an eyeblink ! Thanks Nick !!! Love your demo as well :-)

Please can you provide a link which help me explain how to get the sounds into M1. My M1 got faulty battery and I recently replaced it. But the problem is, all the factory presets got wiped out. How to get them back, and also how to get the once in these video on it as well?

m1 has very pure and hi quality basic analog waveforms inside.
combining them with envelopes, mg, vdf and double bus multifx they sound very musical.
It has a couple of DWGS waves in it, like from the DW8000, which are very useful.

Hey there, would these work with the Korg T3EX? If I remember correctly, the T3 can load M1 sounds but I'm not 100% shure...
