It baffles me how his career has been wasted being shuffled around relegation clubs. It was very rare for him to be a starter for the whole season. He'd shine for half a season, went to a slightly bigger club, relegated to the bench, and then starred again for whichever club he was loaned to. Rinse and repeat.
Even if the biggest clubs won't take him surely he'd be a valuable asset for mid table clubs but those clubs never trusted him for some reason.

Saponara actually anticipated the keepers move, goalies are supposed to leave their line to close the space on a potential 1v1 (which would have happened if saponara passed the ball)
