They are just about to spawn in OH. Bites getting slow due to a cold front but caught a bunch of 4’s and 5’s and missed a 7+ this spring. I catch some great bass on windy days w the Jerkbait. Getting the Dep’s cover scat ready for the spawn!! They destroy it on or near the beds!! Thanks for the vid T. Us pond guys always have those days where nothing seems to bite!!
Best part of your videos is how excited you get with a fish on. It's the reason we throw the line in, in the first place.... and glad to see on video, I'm not the only one who gets fired up when what I am doing is working. Well done!
Always happy to eat my cereal and watch your fishing videos in the morning! Before my fishing adventures got out yesterday! And caught some decent wild trout in the middle of the city! And got my driving learner’s permit! No fishing Mother’s Day weekend right now though😢
As for the blue dyed pond, I went on vacation with my cousin when I was a kid and we stayed in a place that had a pond right behind it that was dyed blue. My aunt caught a 9 pound bass that came up and snatched the bream she was reeling in, and the bass' scales had even started turning blue
It’s interesting seeing a guy like you from the south get weirded out by a deep clear pond like the first one. Out here in Cali we live in that type of water.
If tyler came to california for the 100 ponds series he'd be stuck for days trying to catch a bass. This is arguably the worst state for bass fishing hands down
Thank you for the tip/teaching for casting in windy conditions!!! You always are teaching in your videos and I really appreciate that!!! Some guys on other channels just want to show off all the fish they catch, not explaining much and for me who only gets out bank fishing at a local pond maybe for an hour once or twice a week, your tips in your videos have helped me tremendously.
Great content! Very informative. We'll start sharing your channel to our clients who just recently bought land from us near the lakes. This will surely help them for their fishing activity 😊

Hi Tyler, Come check out Anderson River Pond in Anderson Ca. It has 3 separate ponds. I'd l really like to see your success their. Just a suggestion, I really enjoy watching your videos. 💪🏼💪🏼
Tyler I’m been fishing since I was 24 years old 3 years ago I been useing zman lures at ponds lake and rivers in New Mexico I live in lascruces 3665balboa ct I used Ned rig zman lures at the bottom fishing and lost 37lures and no fish all my life I cought 1 fish I fish from banks I do not have a boat this is my last year fishing I do not know how you catch fish
I fish nothing but lakes and ponds from the bank, I spend no less than an hour walking around the perimeter. Some times I even spend two hours fishing because I’ll fish in one spot for at least 10-15 minutes before I move on. The only thing that deters me from fishing a spot is the snapping turtles that live in some of the lakes I fish. Once they pop up and stare at me…I know it’s their water and I can’t catch bass there because the snapping turtle is likely eating all the fish so I grab my stuff and move along the bank. I’ve hooked one before and I do not want to hook one again and have to unhook it because I’ll lose a finger.
Really enjoy the pond fishing series. Once my kids get a little older, I know I will get a boat to boat fish, but for now, it’s the minivan, not the truck. So obviously, this sort of content is helpful. Side note: noticed you using the Mach Crush series, which I haven’t seen you use before. I have the previous version, which is my favorite combo.
I have that same lews Mach crush! How do you like it? I still haven’t found what I like to fish on it the most but I’ve fished everything on it by now lol
@@TylersReelFishing dude you have no idea how much it means to us when you respond back to us with stuff like this ! I literally just caught my first two frog fish on it! (I posted a short) I either have a light jig or a Texas rigged senko with a 1/8 wootungsten 👈🏻 (my sponsor)bullet weight on it. Definitely love it as a frog rod now!
Hey man, just wondering what you use to carry all of your rods while you bank fish? I usually carry all of mine and just sit them down at every stop. Didn't know if there was an easier way? Thanks!
It may be in the video, but it would be super sick to get more details on the weather, temps, and date that your fishing. I know you give some details, but more info would be cool
I try to give as much as I can, but I don’t wanna bore people with too many details. Gotta keep that watch time up so the video does well. Need pretty constant action to keep Todays viewers
I fish a pond that has the dye that turns water really blue. I've heard it's a chemical that prevents certain algae buildup. In your experience does that hurt bass populations? I've got a few 4 and 5 pounders out of it. But I've also struggled to really catch numbers. It's fast or famine out of it most the time.
Cool video! I like the last pond you fished. There’s a park in Coppell called Andrew Brown Park. There’s a few ponds in that park and it is stocked. I’ve caught fish every time I’ve been there. Except once. Something to keep in mind if you need to add another pond to this series. 😁
I quit, I just live in a part of the country where it's not worth the effort to go fishing anymore unless you have a boat that can go out into the ocean or are willing to drive 6 hours to the delta or clear lake. Waking up early, sitting in traffic for an hour to drive 12 miles, every lake or pond charges you $10-$20 for parking and another $15-$30 to launch your boat, almost every lakes algae bloom is so bad you can't see half a foot and touching the water can give you a rash, water level is always down a few dozen yards, 1000 other people fishing the same lakes as you no matter where you go or what day of the week, practically no fish due to size and number limits not being enforced, and what little fish are left have huge gaping holes in their lips from being caught so many times a day which makes you feel terrible for hooking the poor thing again, trout streams are all dead thanks to development and "hikers" littering and mistreating the environment, trout stocking is pretty much dead due to disease and lack of water at the hatcheries. I go visit family on the other side of the country and can catch 100 fish a day without my fancy boat and optics and stuff but ill come back home and only catch one or two small bass for a full 11 hours of fishing. It makes me want to burn my livescope and scuttle my boat, it's not worth the gas prices, the lake entry fees, the traffic or the frustration to continue fishing here in Socal.
I’m being serious here, you need to leave. It’s so much cheaper to live in Texas or Oklahoma, and the fishing opportunities are plentiful. I don’t know your personal situation, or family life, but SoCal ain’t it. We’d be happy to have you in Texas

Hey Tyler i have a question for you. Is this month still considered Spawning season in Texas? The temperature has been + 80°F for the past couple of weeks ( at least in Houston) and i have been struggling to catch fish on my local ponds.
You are making me jealous when you said “something you don’t see this time of year, a fish on a bed”. Our water is still very cold so spawn has not begun, they are still being cold water bass😢

yeah that first pond is tricky. one way to catch em is to bomb a trap into the waterfall and yo-yo it a bit

If the 100 ponds videos start getting 20K views on average, I can afford to travel to crazy places to fish ponds. Just not there yet
If I could view it 20,000 times I would so you could go elsewhere. Either way I love this series.
👍
If you ever come to Miami let me know alot of ponds here for peacocks

Either houston or Dallas

What do you throw is super small ponds that don't really have any structure?
