Started this method over a month ago, and I have roots!! Can't wait to see the progression. Thanks for the clear, easy video!
They propagate just like African Violet’s thank you
❤fantastico! Era ciò che cercavo !! Ottimo sistema . Grazie !
Amazing. Loved how you show every steps so clearly. Thank you.
I didnt even know this plant existed, very informational

Ur videos are soo good and relaxing!
Nice video
Nice video.
Beautiful!
Hello 😊 I came across this video because I was looking for videos on the raindrop plant, and have never tried this form of propagation.. I've only done water propagation and its seeming to be a great way to propagate, but I want to try this way now!! So thank you! I do have a question though... I'm not sure how long you've had your raindrop plant, but do you know, when your raindrop plant gives off her flowers, if I cut them off... Will more leaves grow or would that harm the plant and potentially kill it?? I just don't like the flowers so much, and I'd rather her focus her energy on production of leaves instead of flowers
Hello Stephanie, glad you like my videos! I really prefer this kind of propagation for the raindrop over all others 😊 My plant currently also developed two blossoms which I cut. Therefore I assume cutting them does not hurt the plant
@@MarlenePlantkins Great, thanks so much❤ Happy Holidays😊
You too 💚🌱💚
How do I remove the adult leaf I used to grow the babies ?. Do I cut it straight away or after a while of reporting the baby's?.
Great video! 👍
Love your video. I just bought 2 Pilea peperomia, waited a week before transplanting in 4 in'" pot 5 days ago, in the sun room in indirect light but a few of the leaves are splitting in half. Will this propagation method work on Pilea peperomia plants. Thank you in advance...
Yes it works for all kind of peperomia :)
Hi there, this is amazing! Do i need to sterilise the compost?
Hi! I dont do so 😊
Fun video
This plant is familar to me but I have just known its name. Thanks dear.
nice!!
My mum likes watching your videos. Woof 🐶! She is super into house plants these days.
Thanks Mate! Glad to hear that!
Your new subscriber 😊 I have one question... Should I make a hole in the container at the bottom ?
Hi! No you dont need holes at all. I recommend open the box once per day
I wonder what other plants can be propagated similar way?
That’s crazy how that grew. What soil medium did you use?
Thanks! I made a video where I show how I make my own DIY potting soil mixture: ua-cam.com/video/rqawWFuNusw/v-deo.html
Peat Moss, potting soil, perlite and Lecca. Got it! Thanks
Lovely! How often do you water the liefs while you are waiting the new ones?
Just keep the box wet :)
Wow thank you💕 i have rain drops plant also…
whut?! i didnt expect it to work. I thought you needed a stem to root peperomia?! the looks is so simillar to pilea, but i think pilea won't root his way, no? regardless,- the video is very informative XD
Yes, pilea does not root this way, but all kind of peperonia do :) pretty cool I Love it!
How well should the soil drain?
....for some strange reason this plant reminds of the Bruce Dern movie 'SILENT RUNNING'?
does this method only work in closed containers? i tried in a regular nursing pot and i think the humidity wasn’t high enough so it dried up around the edges.
A regular pot will indeed dry the moss out very fast. The plants furthermore do grow faster with a high humidity. It will work with open containers, but plants will grow slower and you will have to check the humidity very often
@@MarlenePlantkins thank you sm!! just retried in a closed container 😻😻
Should there be any water drianage and aeration hole?
Not a must have, too big holes will make the box dry. You can either do very small holes or open the box once per day.
done
Which kind of water..fertilizer..rooting hormones
I've just passed the 100 days since doing this form of propagation, and the babies are getting big - in fact, the "mother" leaf has started to decay in the last day or two so I guess it might be time to put them in their own pot... i'm just a bit scared because if they don't survive after replantig them for some reason, I'll be sad. I feel like a mom letting her kids go into the world 🤭😓
thicc green boy
howwww ? mine turn into mush by the 2nd week
Why you took small leaves
I took them all :)
