People keep comparing him to Coltrane but I think he has his own sound that has developed over his many years. I enjoy all these folks because of their individual approaches, not as to copy anyone. Archie Shepp, David Murray, Billy Harper, Eric Alexander, Bob Berg, Odean Pope, Joe Lovano, Joshua Redman, etc. Gifts of God. Praise not criticism.
