For the first story, the fact that she said “my dad’s wife” already showed that she didn’t see her stepmom as an actual stepmom. The dad’s wife should’ve never pushed it and left OP alone and especially shouldn’t have said all those things she said to her about the baby.

Wait is it not ok for them to have alcohol as long as it's cooked off? A pan sauce won't make you drunk because all the alcohol is cooked off. I wouldn't have assumed that, so I think it's on them for not pointing it out beforehand, especially since they're new in town and may not have realized alcohol wasn't ok.
