Im pretty glad they did. It just makes sense not all of the creatures are tamed/broken the same way imo so im glad theyve been expirimenting with more unique ways to tame the newer ones

Is this not just the xenomorph circle of life where a creepy creature lays an egg in your body the a chest burster comes out of your chest eats you then slowly but surely grows into an adult xenomorph
I hope they add something like a giant grasshopper, it could have the high jumping of the procoptodon, slow fall and gliding, they could use their hind legs to emit a series of combat effects like raptors and deinos, be able to wall climb, and because they are basically giant locusts at this point, they would get a pack bonus, and be ravenous during the taming process in large numbers together, but the reward for succeeding in taming the alpha would enhance all the nearby locusts levels as well
Make sure that the creature has a good amount of drag weight like a bronto to give all the stats from the parent for example if you have a carch with 224 in health and melee and you give all of the cravings the bug will get all those stats
I saw one of these for the first time recently. I just downloaded the game from almost a year of not playing and I just thought it was a bug that was close to me until I moved the camera angle and saw that it was really far away and HUGE. It ended up trying to chase me but luckily I got away
Also the bigger your sacrificial creature the better, so things like maxed out brontos, carchas, giga etc. They give you better levels for your new babies if you feed it all 5 cravings because it takes mutations and levels from the parents.
the higher the drag weight the more stats they take over i reccomend a carch or giga with rly good base stats so not leveled so mutations help the more cravings u do the more levels it takes over!

Well I feel such an odd/ unique creature wouldn’t be so easily tamed hints why they require you to raise this odd creature rather than tame or eles people would just mass tame this creature and constantly use it over other Dinos that and this creatures own nature
They’ve certainly gotten creative with the taming methods
@IChaseIUA-cam u need to feed ur tame? Thats not like reaper
@@askgof kinda he’s saying instead of you getting pregnant with the reaper your tame does. I just said exactly what he said

@IChaseIUA-cam That's what I was thinking too. It is pretty unique though.

Probably the best all terrain creature of all time, it can fly, run, and swim at some decent speeds, and is even immune to Cnidaria
And thylas so no getting dismounted
No, is not inmune to Cnidaria. I tried and they keep hurting you.
@@zeddys2702but do they stun? Cause the DMG rly doesn't matter all that much if you can just swim on
Wow I hadn’t checked it out yet so that’s awesome. At least it should make the difficult taming process worth it

Its already here!?!?!?!
Already? They been promoting it for months
Kinda like a reaper, but with more steps
@ichaseiyoutube1341 if you cryo the dino that have an egg inside it will freez to death the egg. So no you cannot, they said si in the description.

The cravings being able to be literally anything in the game is a play on pregnancy cravings in humans, cause they can be all over the place.
'somewhat rare', thats the biggest understatement of the year.
I thought the carcha was complicated to tame, this is insane

Probably has to dye with taming effectiveness or whatever the equivalent is

Taming is literally the main thing to do in Ark
Lifting that paraceratherium was very cute lol
What happens if you don't answer it's cravings?.
It will lose the baby I'm pretty sure

Is it already in game???
yes, but there are a lot of bugs for pvp. so if youre a pvp player you can expect to not be able to use it on a server for a while.
it spawns in lost island and island swamps
"rare spawn" these things seem to spawn less often than holiday updates
