Sharon Tunstall They made loads of continuity mistakes. Dorien’s surname kept changing, Marcus’ new wife’s name changed in this series when Dorien mentioned it, Garth would be a lot older than the actor playing him here plus he would have a teenage kid which they left out. Surely the first thing the writers would do is watch the old episodes but you can’t fool a die hard fan like me. I even thought Tracey’s reaction to Daryl dying was badly written as, even though he defrauded her and they’d been divorced for years, she was so in love with him in the 90’s series that she would be much more upset at his funeral than they wrote her to be.
made for itv so had to be softened/more family friendly. plus bbc politically correct culture clamped down a good few years ago so no way would they let 'birds' fly today/when it was probably repropsed to them. that's why GIMME went down hill and the writer decided to finish it out on the third series. shame the itv heads are now phasing out comedies and trying to introduce more comedy into soaps :(( the fucking pc culture is killing good tv.. everything really!
Probably my most binge watched comedy, I just love it, if only we could have another series.

Shocking continuity errors. Also, Garth turned into a moron. But Chris's dead and alive mother was the worst of all I think.
