- Do you ever have those projects where you aren’t really sure what you are doing until you do it? This live edge slab bench is one of those. All in all, it was pretty easy to build and only took a day or two. The hairpin leg was the last from a set of 4, the other 3 I used to make my daughters nightstand. This could be considered an entry-level project for making slab furniture without epoxy - just a way to dip your toe in the water with using live edge pieces. See you next week!

About Stillworks
I make videos of my daily shop life and all the crazy things I’m working on. That could be project builds, woodworking skits, more introspective stuff, and educational videos. Think of my woodworking as exactly what you do: Not specializing in one thing, rather cranking out whatever comes to mind, regardless of genre. Thanks for watching! - Навчання та стиль
I love when I get home from work on Fridays and you have a new video up. Might have to go get myself a Dale's pale and finishing alphabetizing my sandpaper from last week so I too can figure out what to build this weekend.
@@jamesburton6661 hahah, dales can make even the most monotonous task bearable
Nice exterior addition to the house!! Another win!
Better than buying stuff at least
Great idea and nice build! 👍👍🔨🔨
Simple one
I’m really enjoying your work! Looking forward to the next!
Thank you kindly
Man, I held on to some wood for around 14 years and finally used it a few weeks ago to make my son a record player. Long wait but it actually turned out really good. Rock on man. Dig your style
@@Juan-hr7ol sometimes they need the right thing to come along. Good thing is that after 14 years, you can be pretty positive that it’s dry

Lol. Definitely
The sign language was spot on!
And to think I never took a class or anything
That’s some nice looking wood!
Virginia Black Walnut. The really nice pieces I’m saving for dinner table build coming up
I do that too. I have projects to work on but I clean the shop/garage first, I sweep, I make some jig or push stick, etc. etc. great vid
@@Dustins_Woodworking that’s so funny you say that. I have a section in my 24 hour woodworking marathon video (published about a month ago) where I talk about idea generation through sweeping
@@Stillworks yeah, I remember. That too was a great vid.
Very cool looks great
Thanks dude, easy one
When you said that sometimes Norm is looking down I had to ask Siri if he had passed away lol. No! He’s 74
@@Stewarts_Woodworks he is always watching…..
Hahaha. Perfect sign language!

You took the words out of my mouth. Milling is a boring skip-magnet. I like your sign language, but I think you could also use interpretive dance, Mime, Deliver the action in period costume while talking seductively as George Washington, Sasquatch outfit, break into Hammertime dance periodically. These are all things I would love to do but you would make them look GOOD.. Just Suggestions! but amazing suggestions!
Hahaha, I’ve probably just doomed myself to keep thinking of new creative ideas each time I
Ha! Ha!
Glad you enjoyed!
